  Best experience ever from Riad L’Alcazar

  L’Alcazar was the best experience ever for my 7 day holiday in Rabat, just wish it had been for longer. From the moment we arrived, the Service could not have been any better from Sharon, George, Rashed, Mustafah and the Manager Mohammad. Our every need was catered for and on our first night we had a most beautiful meal of Chicken Tagine. The bedrooms were so spacious and the most comfortable bed. Every place so airy and beautifully decorated. Lovely roof top terrace with pool to relax in the evenings. Location was brilliant, would definitely highly recommend it for short or long term visit. Will definitely be returning there, Exceptional service from all staff, treated more like family. Thank you to all for making it a most enjoyable and memorable experience.❤️. Eilish, Ireland.

  Good Riad in a convenient location

  The Riad is located in a small lane walking distance to Kasbah Oudayas, a very convenient location if Rabat Medina is to be accessed. The room we were allotted in the first floor was quite big and the bathroom also had good amenities. One of the issues with Riads we faced in Morocco is that none of them have elevators. Riad L'Alcazar was the only Riad we stayed in during our Moricco trip which has a (small) escalator to help with our luggage. The staff were very hospitable and helpful. Breakfast was decent in spread with crepe, eggs, Moroccan bread, coffee etc. We spent 3 pleasant nights in Riad L'Alazar

  Better than five stars!

  L’Alcazar was the perfect place to stay during our first trip to Morocco. Stepping in off the busy street at the edge of the medina you step into a calm and quiet oasis when you enter the road. The courtyard is beautiful, with many places to sit. Our two rooms we’re comfortable and quiet - perhaps best hotel bed ever! The rooftop pool was a lovely place to cool-off in the afternoon. Location is great - easy to grab a taxi and many places within walking distance. Perhaps the best part was the staff. George and Mustafa made us feel welcome and cared for. Five stars aren’t enough!

  Staff were lovely. Our Room for 3 was split into 2 rooms connected by a spiral staircase,which was no good if you slept upstairs and neede the bathroom in the night..Decor was very dated and westernised 80's.Bit depressing tbh.Breakfast was very basic.we werent offered eggs.Staff work hard.Wouldnt use again.

  Beautiful and convenient place to stay in Rabat

  This is a beautiful and convenient place to stay in Rabat. The entrance is right by the street so our tour guide dropped us off directly in front of the riad and we didn’t have to walk a long way. Our tour guide preordered beef tajine with prunes for dinner before we arrived, and it was the best tajine we have had so far in Morocco. We also had Moroccan Za'alook Saladwhich was very flavorful and we scooped it up with the homemade bread. George served us dinner and spoke English well. Our room had a sitting area with a couch and the bathroom on the lower floor. The bed was up a flight of stairs, but there was no railing on the outside, so I was a bit nervous about waking in the middle of the night (thus the reason for the 4 rating). We left the bathroom light on to light our way in case we woke up. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was filling - we had omelettes with yogurt and fruit and Moroccan pancakes.
