    Location: (5/5)Tucked along a picturesque canal, the hotel is in a lively neighborhood with local cafes and restaurants steps away, yet the street itself feels peaceful.Lobby & Atmosphere: (5/5)The lobby may be small, but it punches well above its weight in design. Soft pastels, floral accents, and natural light create an atmosphere that genuinely lives up to the name "Monet Garden."Service: (5/5)Exceptional from the moment we arrived. We landed on an early morning flight, and the front desk not only quickly arranged an available room but also served us hot tea while we waited – a small gesture that made a big difference in a chilly sprint morning after a sleepless flight. The team remained warm and attentive throughout our stay.Room: (4/5)The room itself is not large – typical for a boutique hotel in a historic city. What it lacks in square footage, it makes up for with a lovely canal view that feels quintessentially Amsterdam. The bed, however, is on the small side – a common theme across Europe. One can't help but wonder how the famously tall Dutch manage. That said, the bedding itself is very comfortable, and we slept well.Overall: 5/5The thoughtful service, charming canal views, and beautiful design easily outweigh the compact bed and room size. Perfect for a short stay in Amsterdam.

    The employees of the hotel were wonderful. The hotel manager and everyone else were so attentive. We arrived early via train, and they made us feel welcome and at home until our room was ready. We will definitely be back again.

    The hotel boasts an excellent location, within easy reach of museums and canals. The atmosphere is charming and relaxed, with a cozy, boutique feel. Rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, offering solid value for Amsterdam. Cleanliness is consistently high, and the noise level is low, making for peaceful nights. Service is friendly and accommodating. Amenities are modest but sufficient, perfect for a short city stay.

    On the outside it was OK but on a busy road. However when we went in we were met with smiles and welcomes with bubbly or beer. The room was very nice with a bottle of bubbly in the fridge (40th anniversary) Water was free in the fridge.. Bed was comfortable. Choice of pillows. Coffee machine as well as kettle for tea. Fresh milk from the bar if needed. Room was made spotless daily. Ironing board and iron and hairdryer provided. Bathroom (shower only) was great. Lovely shoving mirror with light built in was great but nowhere to put it at height so not much use, had to put up with a giant mirror with non-misting centre. Soap and shampoo provided.Breakfast was incredible. You name it they had it. $25 euro was a lot but outside small breakfasts were no cheaper. I recommend it.The bar and snacks were very good.Staff could not have been more friendly.     The hotel is in an amazing location within walking distance to pretty much everything. The rooms are nice and the hotel has a great atmosphere. They restock cold water in the fridge every day. Overall, it was an amazing experience with very friendly staff.
