    Hospitality at its best!

    rating26 Aug 2023

Hospitality at its best! Our first stay in this hotel was in summer of 2022, we stayed here during our visits to some family and friends and we asked for a room with less EMF radiation and that is exactly what we got.The receptionists are so professional and accommodating, tthey were always ready to provide as help for extra information. The hotel has a pool and they won't shoo you off in case you overstayed your time in it. The restaurant is a jewel in this hotel. We had a wonderful experience from breakfast to fine dining during our stay. We take our hat off the hotel chef assigned for breakfast as well as the crew during our stay here. The chef is very attentive to the guest, he was never out of freshly grilled tomatoes or sunny side up fried eggs which you don't usually encounter in any other hotels we stayed in. You don't have to ask for a refill because he does this automatically with all smiles and passion. I also noticed that on the day a guest was with a kid, there were mini pancakes served. I am not a fan of pancakes but I had three of them that same day because they were a yum! As for dinner, the food is divine, it is worth every penny especially for non meat eaters, one could tell a lot of attention and passion were put in them despite the fact that it was buffet, grilled meat and fish were fresh and warm. As for the crew, you don't have to ask them to provide you utensils on your table, it is all done automatically and professionally. We take our hat off to the whole crew and the management of this hotel for being so organized and for providing guests and extra great service! We hope that you would stay as so! Thank you for making us feel at home! We shall definitely keep going back!

Thanks for a really nice stay !

We had a very enjoyable weekend at this hotel. Yes it’s very outdated and could do with a good clean-up but the positives far outweigh the negatives.Location is beautiful .... nice and quiet with great walking routes right at the back of the hotel. Parking was fairly tight but we discovered an overspill carpark at the back where the shed is and where you can lock up your bikes for the night. The rooms themselves are typical Fletcher style ..... blue carpet with brown furniture but nice and spacious. Very comfy clean beds with coffee and tea making facilities. Nice small balcony to open the door and let some air in. Took a while to find a hairdryer and still wonder why they have it hanging and wired up under the television. No fridge in the room. The bath was very welcoming when you see how small the swimming pool is ..... however I did wonder how an elderly person could climb up into the bath to take a shower seeing there were no slip mats on the surface ..... lethal for an older person or somebody with a disability. Breakfast area very spacious with plenty of available tables and as for the breakfast itself, it was excellent. Anything you wanted was laid out and the cook behind the counter was constantly making up fresh eggs and bacon. Reception staff were constantly busy but very friendly and helpful. Overall really enjoyed it.

    Nice hotel

This Fletcher hotel is a nice place to be. The breakfast is good and also if you want to have dinner. If you take your bikes with you, you can visit in the woods and visit nice places with little shops and musea. We had a great time.
