    The hotel is in a perfectly central location, adjacent to public transport links. It is very contemporary designed and spotlessly clean. The staff were all friendly and the view from my room was great.

    2 night stay here. Self check in using the iPads. Very easy and quick.Room was small and basic but perfect for a short stay. Similar to other ‘pod’ style hotels we’ve been to. Bed was comfortable. Extra pillows available under the bed. Great view of the square and harbour. No fridge or kettle/ coffee machine but you can get coffee from the bar downstairs.Everything was controlled through the in room iPad - lights, TV and aircon. Coloured lights in the bathroom that can be changed. Location was great for exploring the city. 20 minute walk roughly from Central station. Blaak station is located behind the hotel. Cube houses just around the corner and the Market Hall over the road.I’d definitely recommend a stay here

    I have traveled to more than 100 countries, and unfortunately this hotel stands out as one of the worst experiences I have ever had due to racism.One of the managers, named Kim, treated me in a very rude and disrespectful manner. When I asked her calmly why she was treating me so poorly, she responded by saying, “Because you people keep coming asking for things here.” This comment was offensive, discriminatory, and clearly based on the color of my skin.No guest should ever be spoken to or treated this way. Racism has no place in the hospitality industry.     Great hotel with loads of bars and restaurants in the area. Good access to local metro and train system. Take a direct train to Blaak station from Amsterdam airport and the hotel is directly opposite.

    The location of the hotel was great - with the train and Markthal right outside. I found quite a bit of what I wanted to see in walking distance and everything else was incredibly easy to reach via public transit. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, I was able to get into my room a little bit early and store my luggage after checkout. The self serve water station in the bar area was fantastic (both sparkling & still - and very cold!)I found the room very clean & comfortable. Loved being able to control everything from the iPad, changing the light colors and being able to cast to the TV helped make it the perfect place to relax each night. I was originally planning to stay two nights and had left a night open before my next planned city, I was enjoying my stay so much I decided to extend for a third night.The only thing that could make this room perfect would be the addition of a small fridge but not the end of the world for me. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Rotterdam.
