    Great hotel and very handy to Spark Arena

    We stayed one night here. Great location to Spark Arena, as walking distance to concert. Plenty of free parking available at the hotel. Room was a good size, with comfy beds, good bathroom, towels and products. Everything was clean and fresh, and the decor was very welcoming. Good value for money and we had a good sleep. Would definitely recommend staying here, particularly if you are going to concert at Spark Arena. We also had dinner at the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and service there.     Location is great and free car park available. Room is clean and tidy, however the pool is not heated. We have stayed at many hotels across NZ and I hate to say this was a terrible night's sleep. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, it feels old and sloppy. There were people arguing in the hallway at midnight for over half an hour and to top that a screaming baby in another room fir ages. This has not been a great experience. On the good side, the restaurant was great food.     Great renovations been done at hotel . Nice clean tidy rooms . Excellent location so close to CBD . Cheap Ubers to town . Good air con . Free onsite parking .     A very pleasant stay

    We had stayed at the Rose Park several times before but this time the difference being the tasteful refurbishment. Our room was on the 3rd floor of the Colonial Wing and was spacious and comfortable with plenty of room for suitcases etc. The shower was adequate with a step-up/down arrangement and the water pressure was good. We had three nights of peaceful sleep and did not hear anything from the hallway, other rooms or the car-park which our room overlooked which aided a peaceful atmosphere after our days out. The is a bus stop directly outside the hotel so we caught the bus into the city and Britomart which was very convenient as we did not need to take car. There is adequate parking too. I certainly recommend the Rose Park Hotel to anyone wanting to stay in a smart, quiet hotel at a reasonable price close to the city.     Comfortable hotel but no hot water

    The location is great if you have a car as they provide free parking (one of the main reasons choosing this hotel). Only 1.5km away from the centre of the city. We booked a standard twin on the ground floor. The room was clean and had a large tv. Beds were comfortable. There were two downsides of the room. There was no hot water from the shower at 6:30 in the morning and you could hear people talking outside the room (room 103). We didn't bother complaining as we only stayed a night.
