Reserved on booking.com which was nice and easy. First night on our New Zealand honeymoon. When we arrived it was raining and our user driver couldn't find the entry so had to call reception to find out where the entry was. They didn't seem super keen to help and directions basically said to get out the car and walk in even though I had made it clear we didn't know where the entrance was. Check in was easy enough, the hallways had a weird dank smell but the room was pleasant enough for a budget hotel. The shower soaps provided were nice and the bed was comfortable the only thing was the noise from the busy street below and bright nights.

Comfy bed but small rooms with musty smell. Air conditioning unit needs a good clean. Small patio was nice to sit in, at least to get some fresh air. Reception was scruffy, stunk of cooking, and staff not skilled in customer service. Good location but glad we only stayed one night.

My husband and I stayed here one night when we went to see Pearl Jam at Mount Smart Stadium. I read the reviews before and was a little bit nervous.It was not as bad as I thought. The room smelt musty, but it had everything we needed for the night.It has toiletries and tea and coffee facilities and a small ensuite.The air-conditioning was very temperament.We didn't need a car park, but they had run out of them by the time we checked in, so if you need one, I would book it before you check in.They only gave us one key which could be tricky if you come back to the room at different times.The hotel is a bit noisy and I got woken at 4am from people talking loudly outside. This could happen at a lot of hotels though.The hotel staff were pleasant enough and only work limited hours (maybe till 8:30pm) so if you need to check in later, I recommend contacting them ahead of time.Overall, it is an acceptable hotel for a one night event in Auckland.

Came to Auckland for the Warriors game and booked two nights here. Confirmed in advance that we could check in late in the evening. We arrived at 11:40ish and reception had a sign with a phone number to call. Another gentleman arrived at the same time to check in and had also confirmed the time with the hotel. After calling the number consistently for 50 minutes with no answer we gave up. Had to find new accommodation, which is very difficult and expensive at such short notice at 12:30 in the morning.Worse service than you would receive in a third world country. Book at your own risk.

These guys are absolute scammers and have charged me for an extra night when I only stayed two nights, they stuffed my booking up and made it my fault and expected me to pay for another. The rooms were also disgusting, moldy and smelly. I would not ever stay here again.
