    In Auckland for Sail GP. Arrived to find that they had upgraded our suite! Lots of room for the two of us, full kitchen and washing facilities available. Handy location. Easy walking distance to the Viaduct Basin or Sky Tower. About 20 minute walk to Wynyard Quarter. Will be staying there again.     Excellent location,within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.We had an apartment overlooking the park-it was really spacious,with floor to ceiling windows,so really bright.Everything you would need was provided and it was immaculate.Breakfast was good enough for a quick morning bite-coffee was excellent.Raghuvir on reception provided exceptional service and really elevated the quality of our stay.Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend for a stay in Auckland.     Horrible booking experience

    Booked this hotel through Hotels.com more than an month in advance of my stay. The next day I had to cancel because our travel plans changed. They held to their no refund policy. A couple of days later, I tried to reinstate the original reservation when our plans changed yet again. The hotel wouldn't talk to me, saying I needed to talk to Hotels.com. Hotels.com couldn't get a response. As far as I'm concerned, this hotel stole $200 from me. In many cases, any amendments or reinstatements to a cancelled reservation must also be processed directly through the booking platform, which is why our team would have advised you to liaise with them.That said, I’m truly sorry that the process felt difficult and that you were unable to receive the assistance you expected.     Awful ! Awful! This was our 3rd stay in Aukland. After spending a month with our family we always like to finish with a day and evening in Aukland before flying back to UK. This has always been a good experience for us. Not this time!The accommodation was ok but the reception, parking and breakfast was absolutely awful and spoilt our visit. Extremely limited parking which wasn’t made clear or advice given on where to park and nearly involved us having our car towed away! We had a lot of luggage to transfer and a young child’s buggy etc.Long story.There is only one lift and this is shared with housekeeping. We needed two rooms and these were on separate floors- the problem was we were unable to gain access with our key card between the rooms via the lift or stairwell. This proved a massive inconvenience .The small restaurant was run by a very inefficient person who was dealing with checking people in at the same time.The available food at breakfast was poor. The cheapest ham, cheese and yoghurt and not replenished. There were no clean spoons and I had to ask 5 times for a teaspoon- when I eventually got ONE I had to use it for my coffee then share between 3 people for eating yoghurt. I definitely would NOT stay here again! Avoid this place!
