This apartment resort is located in a convenient and quiet setting, only 1.5 km away from Wanaka town centre. This property provides the perfect base from which travellers can explore the area. Wanaka has 3 excellent ski-fields all situated within easy reach of the hotel, a beautiful aquatic playground and Mount Aspiring National Park, as well as truly unique attractions, such as the Warbirds' Museum and Puzzling World.

Facility

The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Services include a baggage storage service. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park (no extra charge). Further services and facilities include a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and central heating. A balcony or terrace is a standard feature of some rooms. Fantastic place to relax

Fantastic place. We had a 2 bedroom apartment with living room (2 sofas) and full kitchen. Washing machine and a drier. A patio with chairs and table, big bathroom, great shower, heated towel rail. Views from main bedroom and living room to the mountains and lake. Netflix on the large TV. This was a perfect stop off on a long road trip of the South Island. Wish we’d had more than just 2 nights here. Can’t believe what great value this was. We had a ground floor room so you do get a little noise from above (didn’t affect us) but you can request a 2nd floor apartment. I’d definitely recommend it, so much space and everything looked new. Great staff too. Wanaka is a nice little town. Eat at Big Fig for super fresh cooked food. Excellent place to stay, had absolutely everything we needed

We stayed here in unit 2a, it was so spacious, and had everything we needed Unit was so big, was clean and tidy. Very quiet despite it being a very busy weekend in Wanaka. Heaps of plates cups etc. staff at reception we lovely and nothing was a problem Having your own garage is a definite plus and fitted out suv in well. We loved it so much we have booked again for next year already! There was also a spa, pool and gym, and although I didn’t use them I will next time! Perfect for a Wanaka Getaway!

We absolutely loved our stay at Alpine Resort Wanaka! Apartment 28 was a huge, modern space with three comfortable bedrooms and two bathrooms—complete with underfloor heating, which was a real treat. The full-sized kitchen and laundry made it feel like a home away from home, and everything was beautifully furnished.The view of the lake from the upper level was stunning, and having a garage with internal access that would fit our Pajero 4x4 was a big bonus. Absolutely fantastic stay, enjoyed it so much, we stayed 3 days instead of 1. Great service, lovely receptionist helped us so much, thanks Diana. Great amenities if you have a family with recreation centre and swimming pool. Booked downstairs apartment and specifically told them wanted downstairs got moved upstairs. Gap under door so cold air came in. Spa not working.games going light not working. No lighting on paths so couldn't see path to spa so had to walk out down road. Would be great if everything worked , General Manager at Alpine Resort Wanaka, responded to this review Thank you for your review.I agree with you completely it is great when everything works. But sometimes things break and we need to know to be able to fix it. I can assure you we are working towards better maintenance and I'm sorry the receptionist did not move you back to a downstairs apartment when requested. Its not clear why they wouldn't have done that so I will investigate.We aim to provide a much better service and I'm sorry you were disappointed.
