  Location was perfect, 2 blocks from restaurants/bar! The property was very clean, our unit was perfect and the price was on point, especially for the busy time of year that we visited! Rajad was very personable and responsive via text/ email! Thank you for a very enjoyable 2 night stay!!

  Three good things about this Motel is the location, the shower has hot water and its price. Everything else with regards the budget room (No.3) is not - trust me.It's tired, it's small and shabby.If you're okay with that, fine but just be warned.We cannot recommend it at all I'm afraid, unless by some miracle it has a makeover.There are loads of things to do in Queenstown, which is only a shirt walk away and it is a great place.

  Good location but the facility is basically run down. It needs a new carpet, the window does not shut completely so bugs or insects can get it, the shower does not drain right away, got some neck pain from using their pillows, etc. Not asking for too much but just a decent accommodations.

  Worse Motel we have ever stayed in. Admittedly we booked a budget room as we had in other places on our trip. The room was really small, the carpet was filthy and the the room had an awful musty smell to it. The toilet window when opened, opened up into the motels laundry so there was absolutely no privacy at all. As for the shower. We had to make sure we had one before the staff started up the washing machines otherwise we were showering in cold water. There was no ventilation in the bathroom, you could leave the toilet door open with the window open but there again, no privacy. Don't even think about trying to use the guests washing machine. A notice on the machine tells you that it takes over 2 hours for a simple wash. 90 minutes into the 2 hours and the machine still hadn't filled with water. The only good thing this place has going for it is it's close proximity to town. Would never in a million years go anywhere near this place again.

  had a great 4 night stay at Amber Lodge. Rooms are a bit tired BUT what a fantastic location. views of the lake and gondola. 3 minutes walk into town. very clean and comfortable room and bed. everything you would want in the kitchenette. the staff were so helpful and friendly. we would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again great value for money. on-site parking is a bonus.
