    I have stayed twice at La Luna Lima. I would not stay anywhere else. At the heart of Miraflores, this hotel is a gem. It has zero noise as it is on a quiet street, but close to everything else. Rosa at the front desk always has a smile and is willing to go above and beyond. She used her own Uber app to call me rides as my US-based app charges me twice for the same ride. I reimbursed her at check out. Felix at the front desk is super energetic and helpful as well; he would put a smile on you. The owners, Janet and her husband, are amazing people. They are down to earth, hardworking and very friendly. They recently rented out their lobby area to a Korean restaurant, which we did not have a chance to try out. We walked to Panchita and took rides to Astrid and Gaston as well as La Mar Cebicheria from La Luna Inn, There is always somebody 24 hours at the front desk, and all the staff is super helpful. The night staff, Kevin, gave us packed breakfast because we were leaving early. Rosa had pre-scheduled an Uber for 4:30 AM in the morning, and Kevin even called her to ensure that the car that showed up was indeed the one her app shows her. The rooms are full of renovated functional gadgets, wifi works great, beds and blankets are high quality. Breafast is good to get you started for a fabulous day at Lima. Their eggs have choices like chorizo, hams and mushroom. But remember - in my opinion, you would rather spend the day eating out instead of feasting on continental breakfast and losing appetite when it is time to visit those delicious Peruvian joints!

    Nightmare and unsafe

    Moved out after one night. Worst hotel I've stayed in. First room they put me in was basically a cupboard with NO WINDOWS. Got a change of room with broken furniture, partially functioning a/c, threadbare towels, no toiletries, broken toilet seat, stained bedlinen and bedbugs. The communal area was right outside (who thought of this stupid idea?) resulting in unacceptable noise levels from others who gave me abuse and threats. Complained to the receptionist but she wasn't interested. Some money (although only loose change) went missing from my bag when I left my luggage while I waited for them to change my room. This and the threats from the other guests made me feel unsafe.

    Stayed here after our two weeks in Peru. This was the last place we stayed and it was very quaint. Located in the heart of Miraflores with just a short walk to the square. The hostess was VERY sweet and she's from Canada. She speaks English which was very helpful. We had breakfast in the morning which was amazing. The room was perfect and the bed was very comfortable. We will stay here again if we come back to Lima!

    Simply great. Transfer from the airport worked great, since I did not have soles yet, the hotel settled the costs for me in advance and I could settle this afterwards. Very warm welcome from Janet and her husband. Also the night concierge was very nice, even though I didn't speak Spanish and he didn't speak English, we still had fun discussions - thanks to deepl, google translate and co :)The first two days I had a big single room and I was even asked if they can clean the room. Everything top, bed and bathroom, very clean and nice.The breakfast just delicious, fresh and prepared with love.The hotel was well located and most things were within walking distance.The first few days I was on my own and Janet was always open for a chat and answered all my questions. Every morning I was asked about my plans and in the evening how then day went, just sweet.Then I was in a double room with a friend for two more days and again everything went smoothly, I was able to change rooms right away, even before I had to check out the first one.On the last day of departure, we still received a breakfast to go - since we had to get up very early.A perfect, warm start to my Peru trip.If I am in Lima again, I will definitely return to La Luna Inn - thank you very much ❤️

    great hotel, perfect location. i stayed here on 3 seperate occaisions in june 2023, always feels like home after being away on various treks. good location in miraflores, plenty of restaurants close by, 3 mins walk to Kennedy park. staff are great, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
