    This hotel is a perfect stay in miraflires .very Centrel .5 min from kenndey park and our ladys church .Also a short walk to the ocean .Being a solo traveler .i need to feel safe .And this gotel met every need .You have a jolly guy on arrivel greeting you with a smile then edgar the head of concierge.Is fantastic .the reception desk my check in girl was fatima and she was so helpful .made check in a breeze .This is my second stay in lima at this hotel as i think it would be hard to find a better one.Breakfast is absloutley amazing two great selection all the staff attentive and friendly .This hotel will not disapoint.X Claudia Rivera, Atención al huésped/Recepción at Radisson Hotel Decapolis Miraflores, responded to this review Dear Jeanette, thank you for choosing us once again for your stay in Lima and for taking the time to share such a heartwarming review.     Clean and large rooms, great food at breakfast and bar upstairs, gym was smaller but functional, and pool was a hit with the kids. It’s close to the malecón and in a great location in Miraflores. Staff were kind and helpful- overall very pleased with our stay!     Excellent hotel and experience from start to finish. The rooms were clean and serviced well. We enjoyed the pool both days and ordered food and drinks from Normand and Francisco with excellent service. Would recommend to anyone visiting Lima!!     Nice Employees, Outdated and Smelly Hotel. Not Recommended

    I based my reservation with Radisson Hotel Decapolis on many of the reviews listed here. That was my first mistake. All I can say is that these people must have stayed at a different hotel, or have never stayed in a nice hotel ! To say that this hotel is even close to 4 or 5 stars is laughable (I'm being kind)! At its very best, this hotel barely makes 3 stars.The positive:* Hotel employees are mostly kind and professional* The hotel is located in a safe area, not far from the ocean* good breakfast offeringsThe negative:* the hotel is old and VERY outdated* my room smelled AWFUL!! Very musky and stale air.* my room was very warm!* the TV had a bad picture* the iron and ironing board looked like they were from the 1950's and inadequate for ironing clothing for my business meetings* no luggage stand (I called the front-desk and was told "we don't have those")* excessive noise from the street (I was on the 9th floor and still heard it!)I can't recommend this hotel, unless every other hotel in the area are sold out.
