    Spacious clean rooms and lobby. The breakfast area felt a bit cramped.The staff were all attentive and gracious. Altogether a good experience for us.

    Hotel was overbooked and they changed our reservation without notification, leaving us with only one bed. They did not even notify us upon arrival. When we went to the desk they did tell us that the hotel was overbooked and that's why they made the change. They did not offer any accommodations or assistance. We requested to speak with the manager. There was no manager on duty but they did call Jeanne, the general manager. She was rude, unprofessional and unapologetic. Her only advice was to cancel the reservation. After reading other reviews, I can see that this was not just a bad day, but seems like this is the norm for Jeanne. For such a large hotel chain, I can't believe the standards aren't higher. Honestly, if it was just handled differently we probably wouldn't have been so upset. If it was somehow accidentally overbooked, they should have let us know prior to check-in that our reservation was changed. At the very least they could have let us know at check-in, offered apologies, offered accommodations, offered a discount, etc. instead we dealt with Jeanne after the fact, who seemed to lack any customer service or soft skills. When contacting IGH customer service, they were also unhelpful. This hotel is not worth $300 a night. 100% do NOT recommend.     Great Hotel Option near NYMC

    Hotel appeared new and in excellent and clean condition. Comfortable large room with well thought out amenities such as a night light in the bathroom and a thick minibar of Dove soap. Staff were very friendly and aimed to please. Nice to have hot tea and fresh coffee available 24 hours in lobby, as well as breakfast included.

    We are pleasantly surprised with this location. After reading past reviews we were a bit concerned, but having read there were renovations, we decided to continue with our 2 day reservation. Glad we did. The hotel is beautifully decorated, clean.. and smells pleasing too!. Our room is on the 3rd floor and it is very spacious, has a pull out sofa and king bed. Tastefully decorated and has everything I need. They have an indoor pool but it is only open until 8pm..I find that strange, it's enclosed.. why not keep open until at least 10pm. By the time you step out for dinner and return, it's too late. That's a shame not too be able to enjoy. Now in to the breakfast... while they have the typical breakfast fare... at 9:00am there were definately alot of items that had been depleted. Cutlery needed to be restocked. They offered coffee and tea... but strangely only green tea. Their appeared to be just one person running everything... Rosalee... she seemed to be irritated when I asked her for butter... but softened up once I let her see that I noticed her hard work. The garbage was overflowing, but finally a gentlemen came and started emptying that. I think the hotel needs to add at least one more person. Overall... breakfast a hotel does not make.. so I would still return. It is a lovely hotel.
