Location

This property is in the village of Pedralva, on the west coast of the Algarve in southern Portugal. It is part of the district of Vila do Bispo and is on the outskirts of the district, before Carrapateira. Guests will find the nearest restaurants and bars a couple of paces away and links to the public transport network are about 1 km from the property. The village of Pedralva is located in a beautiful valley, 4 km away from the excellent beaches of Amado and Bordeira. The Museum of the Sea at Carrapateira is a 5 km journey away and it is some 10 km to the centre of Vila do Bispo, 15 km from Sagres and 20 km from Topas, with its nightspots, tourist centre and sights, such as Aljezur's Church of Our Lady, the Fortress of Sagres and Aljezur Castle. Cape St. Vincent is roughly 20 km away and it is around 30 km to Lagos. It is approximately 120 km west of Faro International Airport.

Facility

Guests can spend their stay in the privacy of the 24 villas/houses. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a cash machine. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a playroom and a library. Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In some rooms, a terrace provides additional space for relaxation. Rooms have a double bed or a queen-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A minibar is provided. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station and oven. A telephone, a DVD player and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. The hotel has 24 non-smoking rooms.

Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the outdoor pool area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent.     Loved our stay here! Staff was amazing and property was great. Enjoyed the peace and quiet and the village feel. Restaurant was good and we had everything we needed to self cater when we wanted to. Only 20 minute drive to beaches, groceries etc. Thanks!     What a lovely place to stay on our Rota Vicentina walk. Sadly, our visit coincided with a terrible forest fire close to the hotel. There was always a chance that we would have to evacuate the village (but in fact this never happened). The concept oif the 'rescued village' worked for us. It really felt that we had our own little house in the centre of the hamlet. The accommodation itself was as good or better than any other hotel we used on the holiday and the breakfast in the morning was great. Definitely the best. Staff were helpful and friendly and the swimming pool looked great, although when we arrived there were no spare loungers so we had to give that experience a miss. Great hospitality.     Unexpected pleasures

    We were walking the Rota Vincenta and this was a prebooked hotel as part of the trip. It was lovely. The village buildings, the bar/restaurant, reception, pool, walking in the area. All just fantastic. I cant wait to return.The houses are all individual, ours had self catering options which we did not need to use but it was pretty well appointed. The team on reception were very helpful, bearing in mind we dont speak portuguese or know the country.So all in all a good visit and a stong recommendation.
