  Great apartment for quiet time to work. Lovely pool and gardens

  I adore this apartment block . I sleep on the sofa bed as it back onto the very secure quiet pool area . Lovely garden and gracious segulls visit most days. Staff are top notch - tired after a busy season with the usual tourists hoards but all fun and a good laugh.Apartment itself is spacious with a fine working kitchen with an oven. I have had to do some remote working whilst out here and I could not have picked a better block. Next door to cost effective Pingo Doce, down the street from the wonderful municipal swimming pool (Suana and Jacuzzie great) . 25 mins to the strip a bit more and onto Oura beach. 40 mins to old town of foot.

  Would NOT recommend this hotel. No lifts, so struggled with suitcases up to 4th floor. Entrance to your rooms is out on the street. Very open and loud, can hear all the echoes of other guests going up and down stairs, opening and closing doors etc. Location not great, on a very busy roundabout/intersection which makes for incredibly loud noises all day and night, in albufeira they love to rev their car engines it seems. No air con in rooms which meant we needed to leave doors open for air which also didn’t help the noise factor. Did not sleep great at all the entire holiday between heat and noise. Room itself was very very run down, balcony doors were old, battered, difficult to open and close. Visible wear and tear. No table on balcony. Beds very small! Half of the lights didn’t work at all. We also woke up to a cockroach in our sink one morning. We stayed 4 nights and had no cleaning/fresh towels etc. in that time. Reception closes for an hour lunch and closes by 7 in evening. On our last day we had to leave our suitcases in storage as check out was at 10am but our flight wasn’t until the evening but we had to be back there by 1pm to get our suitcases out before the reception area closed for an hour lunch. One night we came back to no lights working in the room and we could not contact anyone for help as reception closed by 7pm. Pool area was ok but small, and sun loungers were very low and uncomfortable. Also, need to have cash to get any drinks/ice cream at small bar area. No food served. Location not the best, still about a 15min walk into old town, we didn’t try new town so unsure of the distance to that. Not even a scenic walk to enjoy, big roads and side streets only. I would say you get what you pay for as this place was cheaper than others we looked at but honestly even still I don’t think it was worth what we paid. Will definitely be looking into reviews before booking anything next time as we only realised after the fact that a lot of these same issues were highlighted in reviews!

  Very large greet for families or large groups

  Very large apartment over two floors with three balcony’s great for families or friends .. no lift (4 floors high)We arrived three days ago and was pleasantly surprised by the size and amenities in our apartment . There was washing machine fridge freezer toaster etc all pots and pans . Spacious family dining table . And three balcony’s , great for socialising . The bathrooms were fine . Decor a little dated . But everything worked No air con . But one heater and a log fire ( we didn’t use ) Close to the supermarket over the road and the little train too . The strip was 15 mins walk but we used uber as was amazing and cheap . One downside .. and it’s huge . The bedroom at the front didn’t allow the windows to be locked so I had a drunk man try to climb into the room! The shutters had a small bolt that didn’t work and there was no lock! So if we came back I would expect this to be fixed !

  Apartments are in a good location there is a very good supermarket across the road and it also has places to eat inside too, the apartment itself could do with some modernisation but it was clean the beds were fine comfortable enough, the pool area was clean and the staff both at reception and the pool cafe were very attentive and friendly

  Only got here yesterday and was upgraded straight away by louis ( a really nice sound guy and talked about football making me feel at ease with him straight away) and was i really happy with what I saw after walking into the huge apartment. Nice & clean with more or less everything you need for a self catering. Supermarkets just down the road & plenty of shops amenities etc. only my 2nd day so will update later
