Location

The hotel is located in the charming city of Lagos and is just a two-minute walk from the Dona Ana beach. The picturesque town centre, with its numerous shops, bars and restaurants, is only a 15-minute walk from the hotel. There is a local bus stop just a few steps away from the hotel and a bus terminal in the centre of town which offers daily connections to Faro airport as well as Lisbon and other cities in Portugal.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 103 non-smoking rooms located in two 5-storey buildings with lifts. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a car hire service and a transfer service. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service (for a fee) to explore the surrounding area.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed or a queen-size bed. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a minibar are also available. A wide range of indoor sports are offered, including callisthenics or, for a fee, a gym, table tennis, billiards and darts. Guests can relax and unwind in the wellness area (massage treatments). Entertainment options and leisure facilities include an entertainment programme and live music.

Meals

Various dining options are available, including a restaurant, a breakfast room, a café and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A continental breakfast guarantees a great start to the day. Staff are also happy to provide children's meals. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    .I’m a solo traveller and absolutely loved staying here. The location couldn’t be better — just a few yards to the beach, and an easy walk along the boardwalk into the old town. It was also perfect for getting to yoga nearby.Some rooms have a side sea view rather than a full sea view, but honestly the location and atmosphere more than made up for it.Great for couples or solo travellers, with Luka’s restaurant on site and Alexander’s lovely relaxed rooftop bar and pool.I’d definitely stay here again

    Stayed here in April for 3 nights with my adult son. Beautiful hotel. Excellent location - close enough to town to walk in and far enough to enjoy quiet if wanted. Some nice pubs / restaurants close by if you don’t want to venture too far. Or if you don’t want to walk less than €3 in uber into old town. Rooftop restaurant looks amazing but we only ate breakfast there as we were travelling around - breakfast was amazing. Plenty of choices - hot, cold, pastries, cake, yogurts, eggs, fruit, bread, juices, coffees/teas, yogurts. So much choice, plentiful and fresh - kept us full all day. Prai Dona Ana is 1 minute walk just outside the Carvi. Stunning sunrise location and then start of the Piedade Boardwalk walk is 1 minute across from the hotel, which at the end is a gorgeous sunset. Nice big rooftop pool and sunbathing area. Very friendly team and immaculately clean everywhere.. Comfy beds and rooms cleaned / towels changed daily. Loved every minute - so much so going back with hubby and staying for 10 days in August. Can’t wait to go back.

    This hotel is steps from a lovely beach and the trail of boardwalks. It’s a $4 uber ride to old city which is just perfect. Little shops and restaurants that were so good! The employees were kind. The breakfast was included and it was very good and varied every morning. This was in Luca’s, their rooftop restaurant. Views from here were incredible and the dinner was excellent as well. The room was spacious and clean. The only improvement would be larger bath towels.

    Great hotel in perfect location. Our room was spacious and clean. The hotel is right next to the Ponta Da Piedade trail, which was so convenient.
