Location

This beach apartment hotel is located on the western Algarve in a hillside position offering wonderful views of the Porto de Mós harbour. The nearest beach is only 100 m away. There are scores of shops as well as restaurants, bars and nightclubs in the surrounding area. Lagos old town lies a 5-minute drive away. Faro airport is some 75 km away.

Facility

In addition to 14 villas/houses, guests can also choose from a selection of 65 apartments and 10 double rooms. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services include a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service and a hotel shuttle bus. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service (for a fee) to explore the surrounding area.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. Separate bedrooms are available. Children's beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe and a desk are also available. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave and tea/coffee station. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are available in the bathrooms, which are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools (no extra charge). Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. Refreshing drinks are served at the poolside snack bar. Those who wish to stay active while on holiday can enjoy cycling/mountain biking and volleyball. For a fee, tennis is also available. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. A wellness area with a sauna is available to guests. For a fee, massage treatments are also offered. Additional amenities include an entertainment programme for children with a number of fun activities.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant (with high chairs), a café and a bar. Refreshing drinks at the beach bar are a perfect way to enjoy warm weather. Half board is offered as a catering option. A generous breakfast buffet, a lunch à la carte and a comprehensive dinner buffet offer plenty of delicious variety. The apartment hotel also offers snacks. The hotel offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

    We’ve just returned from a lovely week away in the Easter Holidays as a family. Really impressed with the standard of the apartments, the well maintained of gardens/grounds/pool etc, and the location just 5mins walk to the lovely local beach with a couple of restaurants. Also a few mins walk away is the start of the boardwalks that follow the cliff top into Lagos with stunning views and well worth the walk.We didn’t hire a car and started using the Line 2 bus from the bus stop at the beach but soon realised it was cheaper to use Ubers to get to/from Lagos Old Town & Marina and to local towns.We loved the area snd will miss the view from our balcony (room 1303)!

    Fabulous first solo trip, older woman.Impressive friendly staff, great indoor pool, sauna and outdoor pool with sunbeds plus gym. Very good buffet breakfast and buffet dinner and snack menu. Easy walk to beach and Campimar Restaurant. Spotless apartment with very comfortable beds.Loved it for my first solo trip. Good walks along the beach and cliff tops

    I loved the hotel. The staff members in the restaurant and at the reception were very friendly, they even take really good care of the cats, like Rosa.The apartment was very big and clean. The garden with the villas looked beautiful and luxurious.The location of the hotel on top of the cliffs was stunning and the beach of Praia de Mos was only a 5 minutes walk. I enjoyed waking up with the sound of the sea.The breakfast was good, enough choice, and also the buffet in the evening was good, there was always something that I liked. Especially the desserts and the cakes were very nice.I have really enjoyed my 10-days stay at hotel Clube Porto Mos.

    A thoroughly relaxing week in lovely grounds with friendly staff. The room was comfortable with seating areas and facilities for cooking, however the hotel offered a buffet dinner at a reasonable price. Plenty of parking and a beach within walking distance. Lots of great coastal walking in the area. The pool area had adequate sun beds and a good outlook. We would use this hotel again.

    We stayed as a couple. We booked an Apartment with sea view which was given to us. The view is amazing. The beach is a few steps away. We didn't go to any of the restaurants in the resort. We actually cooked our breakfast in our apartment and had lunch and dinner at local restaurants. You have all the kitchen appliances to cook yourself. The apartment is really dated. It didn't affect my stay at all but if you're looking for a modern hotel, this is not the place. Staff is friendly. One thing I didn't like was that I expected a nice spa, sauna, heated pool. Non of that. The spa is some creepy place, dark, sauna didn't work and the inside pool was not heated. So not a place for spa relaxation
