Location

This agreeable complex is located in Areias de São João, in Albufeira, with a very cheerful atmosphere and excellent apartments. It is an ideal place for family holidays under the Algarve sun. A bus service runs twice daily from the apartments to the beach except 3 days a week. Links to the public transport network lie about 200 m away. Shopping facilities, restaurants, bars and pubs are located within around 300 m and the nearest nightclub is around 600 m from the complex. The beach can be reached within 1 km. Faro Airport is located roughly 35 km from the apartment hotel.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 39 apartments, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. A baggage storage service, a safe and a currency exchange service are available. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a TV room. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Other services include a babysitting service, a car hire service, a transfer service and room service. Active guests can make use of the bicycle hire service (for a fee) to explore the surrounding area.

Rooms

Air conditioning and individually adjustable heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms include a sofa bed.     Lovely safe cheap apartment in delightful Albufeira

    We booked a cost effective studio for the week for £180.00. As it is low season the very kind young man on reception gave us a free upgrade to a 1 bedroom apartment . BIG space . Balcony has distant sea view . Next to a busy road ......but you soon get used to the noise. Pool sure is fun for the children. Kitchen very well equipped and by shopping at pingo doce 4 minutes walk away near the worm round about am eating healthy at probably half the price of home.Like the fact that local elections have tried to clean up the worst behaviour of some of the worst kind of tourists . Not sure how well message is getting through to them though. English Breakfast with girls having theirs in bikini's ......seriously "Ladies"

    The apartments have good location but that is about it. Me and 10 friends came here and at first they tried charging us 1500 euros total for a deposit. Once we said we wouldn’t pay we were charged 600 euros. This was then kept from us due to “noise complaints” for playing quiet music at 10:30pm. Don’t be fooled by the cheap price this place is a scam.

    This hotel really only serves a purpose for stag and hen weekends. The pool is never cleaned — the water is green, and you can’t even see the bottom. The rooms have ants, and the air conditioning units leak onto the balconies, making them very slippery and unsafe. During the stay, the rooms are not cleaned at all. The pool bar is only open on weekends. The best pool is actually at Fat Cats next door, which is amazing. Overall, not a good hotel to stay at if you’re with your family.

    Positives and negatives... would nt return

    There are some negatives and positives to these apartments !!!Firstly the location is great , fairly quiet street, bars , supermarkets and bakeries nearby. 10 mins to strip and 30 mins to old town , not 15 mins as stated on website, but a pleasant walk. Secondly the apartment itself was huge and spacious, very clean on arrival too.The negatives include a very funny smell on entering reception and also the corridor areas , like a damp musty smell. The pool area is also not great , does nt actually get the sun in the morning. I also saw someone sat on the side with his legs in pool smoking , which was not hygienic. There were mainly young groups stayed here and they were all pretty respectful what I saw. However if youare a family, then this would nt be great for you.Another negative was I had ants in my apartment, not completely over run but every day I say at least 20 . The girl on reception offered me the apt next door but when I looked at it , it smelt like someone had been smoking 40 fag's a day in it .Overall not bad but I wouldn't return , much nicer apts / hotels of comparable price in the area. I used the oura beach opposite daily for the pool , which was beautiful and clean.

    Second time we have stayed here and will definitely be back. Friendly and helpful staff who let us leave our bags as our apartment wasn’t quite ready. The top floor apartment was clean and bright. We knew we had to pay the £200 security deposit which we didn’t mind. These are self- catering apartments so we knew that toiletries were only supplied for the first day and we were more than happy to go in the supermarket to stock up on toilet roll/washing up liquid/rubbish bags. It was down to us to maintain the apartment which wasn’t an issue. Even though it stated towels would only be changed after 4 days, the kind staff replaced them after two days which they didn’t have to do. On the last day we made sure everything was clean and tidy, beds stripped and rubbish taken out. It is a 5 min walk to the Strip and 20 mins to Old Town. Bolt/Uber very cheap. So much to do. We will most definitely be booking the apartments again.
