About Hotel Quinta Do Lago
This hotel is located in Quinta do Lago, near Almancil, at the heart of a wonderful 35,000 m² nature reserve, and enjoys breathtaking views out over the picturesque lagoon scenery. The fine sand beach can be reached in just 10 min on foot by crossing over the lagoon via a wooden bridge. The centre of Almancil is 10 km away. The airport is some 20 km away and can easily be reached by making use of the transfer service.
The resort has 20 suites and 121 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe and currency exchange service. Wireless internet access (for a fee) allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the resort feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room, a playroom and a library. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (no extra charge) or in the car park. A variety of activities are available at the resort, for example tennis and crazy golf or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking and golf. Guests can enjoy a wide range of indoor sports, including a gym, table tennis, billiards and yoga. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath and a hammam and, for an additional fee, a spa, massage treatments and Ayurveda treatments. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy a fun entertainment programme.
Dining facilities include a café and a bar. The restaurant has air conditioning and high chairs for children. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. At breakfast, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Various dishes can be ordered à la carte for lunch and dinner. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options, picnics and snacks are available. The resort offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
