Location

The hotel is situated in the Algarve Barrocal, 10 km from Tavira in a privileged position as it is in the most beautiful area of Sotavento Algarve. Links to the public transport network are within around 200 m away. Faro Airport is located at a distance of approximately 30 km.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 28 non-smoking rooms. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. Various dining options are available, including a restaurant with air conditioning, a breakfast room and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and full board. A generous buffet awaits guests at breakfast and dinner. Alternatively, dinner can be ordered à la carte. Diet meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request.     Wonderful food and a quiet place to stay

    Really lovely hotel with a peaceful vibe. Staff were very friendly and thoughtful. The food was excellent. The setting is amongst orange trees with views down to the coast and Tavira in the distance. House martins, swifts and swallows dart in the skies in above - just lovely. I would definitely staff there again. Thank you.

    Excellent location, excellent view, and with great staff you won’t find anywhere else. Home made cake is a must, you won’t regret it. They have some lovely animals on site, they noisy geese demand your company which you cannot refuse!

    Stayed at hotel as we were visiting family locally, we were greeted late at night by Miguel who offered us a cold drink and option of something to eat Our room was spacious and had a private terrace near to the pool Air conditioning worked great and shower very powerful - you can opt for no housekeeping service daily and in return you receive drinks vouchers, a great idea and reduces waste and cleaning time Sophia in breakfast restaurant was lovely always happy and able to make drinks for us we asked for Breakfast choice was nice but a little limited but usual fruit yoghurt and breads with choice of eggs We didn’t eat dinner as we ate out but enjoyed toasted sandwiches by the pool Pool is heated but chilly at first but very refreshing I needed to work whilst at the hotel and the wifi was excellent Really peaceful and enjoyable stay

    This is a lovely hotel. A great location in the hills, beautiful and quiet. Surrounded by orange, lemon and olive trees, with fab views and gardens to sit in quiet corners. The rooms are comfortable and immaculately clean. The pool area, the same. The animals are a nice touch, with a donkey, some sheep, peacocks and turtles. And cats wandering around the gardens. All of that makes this a nice place to stay.But the star of this hotel, for us, was the restaurant, the quality of the food and the fantastic staff. From the sweetest, juiciest oranges and figs from the gardens for breakfast, to Algarvian fish stew for dinner, to local specialities like Cataplan, the quality of the food is very high. The staff of this hotel are of course very professional, but they also give a lovely personal service. They are so helpful, friendly and kind. Everyone goes the extra mile to make people feel welcome.Special thanks from us go to Pedro, the restaurant manager, and Miguel and Sofia. Making people feel special, as you do, is not easy, but it makes a huge difference to your guests. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

    I arrived here late in the evening needing a twin/double room for my disabled wife and myself. Unfortunately, all of the hotel’s adapted rooms were already booked. Realising the difficulties that this would present us with, the very helpful lady at reception telephoned her partner to discuss the situation. At the end of the conversation she informed me that, having chatted the matter through with her partner, they had agreed that we could spend the night in one of their accessible family suites for the same price as an adapted room; to consider it a free upgrade in view of our circumstances! This represented a substantial discount. We had a very comfortable night at the hotel, and a lovely selection of breakfast choices the following morning., in lovely surroundings. The staff team were very helpful in ensuring that our needs were met, and I cannot praise the experience highly enough. A lovely hotel in all senses, and one that I would recommend to anybody. Thank you Quinta Do Marco - you work hard to give people great service and deserve to be successful. Highly recommended! First of all we would like to apologize once again for not having availability in the rooms adapted for people with reduced mobility. At this moment there are only two of them, but this year we are going to do some works in the hotel and, namely in the rooms on the ground floor (family rooms) we are going to make some changes to make them easier for people with reduced mobility.
