  Arrived here after reading good reviews and were not let down, what a cracking little place. Around 10mins from old town in uber . The staff here are fantastic ,nothing to much,food was filling and salads colourful and fresh . Loads selection of drinks ,all very reasonable. The pool is spotless and clean . The torres valha is situated at top of shallow hill leading to a lush beach and if you walk along cliff you get to a place called rabbit beach,beautiful and clean . The rooms although basic and bit dated are clean and loads hot water. Overall a great place to stop and value for money somuch so iv booked again beginning Sept. Well done lasses. A credit.

  Honestly if you are thinking twice about booking here, don't, just book it. If you like warm hotel staff (shout out to Christina, who makes the best mojitos), a 5 min walk to the beach, delicious reasonably priced food and drink, a clean room, bathroom with a good sized balcony... you'll have a good time. A 15 min bus ride out of the centre of Albufeira so peaceful without being in the middle of nowhere. Beaches nearby are stunning. We will 100 be back as we both felt so welcome.

  Where to start? this was my first time at this understated hotel, and it very much is. ive stayed in albufeira before on a number of occasions but in more heard of places. i stumbled upon this hotel as i was looking for somethingthat was a true reflection of the old algarve and more rural. and it did not dissapoint. the staff are nothing but proffessional helpful and always go that xtra mile to make your stay as comfortable as possible. i genuinly felt welcomed and treated with the upmost of respect. they also have a wanderful sense of laughter, which is always a bonus i think. the food is really good the pizzas are homemade and exstremly tasty. the chef genuinely enjoys cooking. you can taste it in the food. its a little of the beaten track however its 1 of its many charms. quite moments on your balcony at night listening to the crickets chirping, under a moonlite sky, and the warm breeze. what eles could you possibly need? there are also a number of lovely restaurants a small walk from the hotel should you choose that option. i did a few times and was pleasently suprised. however there is also a little shop run by a older Portuguese couple that sell pretty much everything you need. for the most part i delighted in crusty bread. parma ham and cheritso. and cheese. nom nom 🙂 the chambermaids are courteous and polite and do an amazing job. everything spotlessly clean! i couldnt fault them even if i wanted to. i came home today and can honestly say. i already miss the place and the people. i feel friendships were forge that hopefully will sustain a lifetime. i had much laughter there until i cried. meaningful conversations and epiphanies watching the sun go down. i cannot say with true conviction you would find this in a bigger hotel chain. its not just the hotel but the people. the surroundings and the atmosphere and it has bucket loads of that. when you combine all these things it makes for a successful hotel. ive stayed in many. the higher and lower end. its been running now for 48 years. some customers return time after time and you can see the genuine happiness on there faces. i saw that. maybe ill be 1 of them? who knows? what i do know is i would not hesitate to rebook a stay there . so to bring this teview to a close. i would give torre venhal al 15 out of 10 stars. its pretty simple really. if your looking for somewhere from the maddening crowd. and a true an honest reflection of old albufeira then this is truley the place for you. so why hesitate book a stay...you wont be dissapointed i promise you. 🙂 maybe try something different, you maybe just suprised at what this hotel can offer you. i will treasure the memories i made thereand who knows? maybe even mske somemore. 🙂 Mel 🤗

  The hotel was very cheap for a few days in april but it was perfect for the price. Staff is friendly and helpful. There is a pub/restaurant and they have a pool as well. Close to the beach but a bit far from the city centre but there is a car rental next to the hotel with great cheap prices so you can get a car and explore all the nice beaches and restaurants in algarve.

  Great hotel, lovely place to stay.Friendly very welcoming staff and nothing was too much trouble.Good choice of food, which was delicious and a great bar with lots to choose from.Comfy rooms, great pool with plenty of sunbeds for number of guests.Would reccomend if looking for a reasonable priced place to stay.
