Location

Located in Albufeira in the Algarve, the hotel is a self-sufficient unit located in the CS Herdade dos Salgados Resort, between the golf course and the sandy Salgados beach. Various restaurants are close at hand, bars and pubs are some 400 m away and shopping venues can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. Faro Airport is approximately 45 km away from the establishment.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 250 non-smoking rooms located in two 4-storey buildings with lifts. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. Film fans will find plenty of 'lights, camera, action' at the cinema. Everyday necessities can be purchased at the supermarket. The grounds of the holiday village feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional facilities include a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service, a hairdresser and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service gives guests the opportunity to explore the surrounding area independently. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the view of the pool from a balcony or terrace. Guests are sure to get a good night's sleep in the double bed. Separate bedrooms are available. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. A hairdryer and a telephone are provided in the bathrooms, which include a shower and a bathtub. Cosmetic products and a selection of towels provide additional comfort in the bathrooms. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. Family rooms are available for parents with children.

Sport

Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. The pool bar serves a selection of refreshing drinks. Outdoor sports available at the complex include beach volleyball or, for a fee, cycling/mountain biking, tennis, volleyball and golf. With snorkelling or, for a fee, windsurfing, jet skiing, motorboat rides, sailing and diving available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. The complex offers numerous indoor sports, including table tennis, billiards, darts, callisthenics, aerobics and table football or, for a fee, a gym. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna and a steam bath. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Leisure facilities include a kids' club, live music and a dance club.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant (with high chairs), a breakfast room, a café and a bar. All-inclusive can be booked. A delicious breakfast gives guests plenty of energy for the day. At lunch and dinner, guests serve themselves at the generous buffet. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available. For guests, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.

    Stayed at this resort while traveling around Portugal in March. We had a great stay! The welcome by the staff was so inviting and warm. The 2 bdr suite was clean, spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious, even for vegans! We had a variety of options. It’s located a bit of a distance from the city center and it’s quite the maze to get to the beach, but we still enjoyed it.

    The rooms were really spacious and clean but they are stuck with one kind of everything. They only have XL bathrobe nothing smaller nor bigger which couldn’t fitTheir food variety is very poor. Though they were informed that big group asking for Halal food still they couldn’t provide. Even worse they made swordfish in pork fat 😵‍💫On welcome dinner they marked one table as Halal food only and found bork chops and when asked them they confirmed it is halal pork 🤯

    Just returned from a week's stay with golfing friends. The hotel was a fantastic base to play Salgados, Morgado and Alamos courses. We had a fabulous 2 bed suite, with a huge balcony. The suite had everything you needed and was spotlessly clean.All the staff (restaurant, reception and bars) were incredibly helpful and friendly. Nothing was a problem and every request was met.The food at breakfast and dinner was first rate. There was a huge selection of different options. The range and quality of food made it the best I've had at a buffet of this type. The desserts especially were excellent. The drinks on the all-inclusive option were very good too.I can't recommend this hotel enough and will certainly be returning.

    Our stay at Marriott Residences Salgados Resort Algarve was truly memorable and easily one of the best experiences we’ve had at any Marriott property.We were fortunate to stay in a beautiful two-bedroom suite, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, a spacious living area, and a stunning view overlooking the tranquil gardens and expansive swimming pools. The entire property is immaculately maintained, and its location is perfect—nestled in a quiet, nature-filled setting, away from the crowds, yet still ideal for exploring the Algarve region.What truly set this stay apart was the exceptional service. Every staff member we encountered was warm, courteous, and genuinely eager to help, always greeting us with a smile after a long day out. A special thanks to Rui Andrade and Tiago at the front desk, as well as Eduardo. We arrived late in the evening during a storm, and their professionalism and kindness immediately put us at ease. They helped us settle into our suite quickly and provided excellent recommendations that made exploring the Algarve even more enjoyable.Breakfast at the on-site In Season restaurant was another highlight. The food was outstanding, with a wide variety of fresh options, delicious baked goods, and something for everyone. It was the perfect way to start each day before heading out to discover the beauty of southern Portugal.Overall, this was an exceptional stay from start to finish. I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Algarve and would gladly return in the future.
