Location

Situated in a stunning position overlooking Martinhal Beach and set within a protected national park, the resort is located in Sagres on the unspoiled Western Algarve. The Sagres region is marked by its mystical atmosphere and its unspoilt, dramatic landscape, where the sea and the hills come together to create a unique heritage. The establishment is just over 1 hour from Faro International Airport. Guests are invited to discover a place where sparkling blue waters blend seamlessly with the sand and sky. The luxury resort offers its guests an unforgettable escape. Guests can let their imaginations and sense of adventure wander in Praia do Martinhal, Sagres, a popular destination for families and couples on holiday.

Facility

The holiday village has a lift and features 38 double rooms. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access in public areas allows guests to stay connected. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The complex has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. A number of shops, including a supermarket, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car. Other services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service (for a fee), a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus. A bicycle hire service provides all the necessary equipment for exploring the surrounding area. Daily newspapers are available for purchase. A fax machine is available for guests' business needs.

Rooms

Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and individually adjustable heating. Guests can relax and enjoy the sea views from the balcony or private terrace of some rooms. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a minibar are also available. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station and oven. Further amenities include a washing machine and an ironing set. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The complex has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The pool complex ensures comfortable swimming with its pleasantly heated water and 5 outdoor and indoor pools. Children can splash around in a special swimming area just for them. Sun loungers and parasols are available on the sun terrace. There is a poolside snack bar as well. A variety of activities such as cycling/mountain biking, tennis, volleyball, golf, fishing and horse riding or, for a fee, basketball, are offered at the holiday village. Guests can take part in a comprehensive water sports programme, which includes windsurfing, jet skiing, canoeing, sailing, catamaraning, snorkelling and diving, with water aerobics and aquafit available for a fee. Sports enthusiasts are also offered a wide range of indoor activities, including a gym, table tennis, billiards and yoga. Various wellness options are available at the complex, including a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and massage treatments. Additional leisure activities include an entertainment programme, a kids' club and live music.

Meals

Dining facilities include a café and a bar. A non-smoking restaurant with air conditioning, high chairs and a separate area for smokers is available to guests. Catering options include bed and breakfast and half board. A delicious breakfast is an excellent reason to rise and shine. At lunch and dinner, guests can order dishes à la carte or choose a set menu. Diet meals and children's meals can be prepared on request. The complex also offers special catering options.

    Excellent family hotel

    We visited in March with 3 generations of family and stayed in 2 of the hotel houses on site . The properties were very well appointed and comfortable for our family which included an elderly auntie and young children aged 2 and 1 year old . Hotel staff were extremely helpful and responsive to any queries . Facilities for child entertainment were excellent. Food in the hotel restaurants was good . The hotel is well situated with easy access to the wonderful beaches , walking and cycling on the Atlantic coast . We hope tovisit again with our grandchildren in the future .     Family Hotel that has everything

    Such an incredible family hotel! They have everything you could need for families with young kids. Baby food, high chairs, play areas at every restaurant. HEATED pools! The kids' club was wonderful, my kids both had a great time. Right on the beach with beautiful views. Food was great at all of the restaurants and staff were very kind and attentive.     Amazing for young families

    An amazing resort for families with young children. We were welcomed by Jorge who made every effort for us on arrival.We stayed in a 2 bed pinewood villa which was cleaned throughout daily.Lots of activities throughout the resort. Food can get repetitive, but the food at jospers grill is superb. Fresh and flame grilled, so this was a favourite for us.A special thanks to Sahib, Baljeet, Natare (hope I’ve spelled right), Sukhwinder, Tanveer, Jovan, Hardeep and Gurjant with all their outstanding service and help in the restaurant areas.Another special thanks to Jatinder and Akashdeep in the gym/pool areas for their help and enthusiasm throughout our stay. These little details made our stay very personable and memorable.Finally, another special thanks to Jorge and Francisco at the reception desk who made every effort offering outstanding customer service.
