    If you want to spend some time in an amazing place, come here. The view is spectacular from our room and balcony (which has a glass railing so it is unobstructed.) It overlooks the golf course down to the ocean. The rooms are lovely with the bed facing the window overlooking the scenery. We chose a 1/2 pension which meant we ate dinner here also. They have a 3 course dinner, which changes each night and will accommodate you if you have allergies. The quality of the food is excellent. This is an easy 15 minute drive from the center of Lagos and there is lots of parking. If you want to go to the beach, they will take you there and also lend you an umbrella and chairs to bring. Everyone is super helpful. For those with electric cars, they have charging stations in the garage under the clubhouse. No cost. We don’t play golf, but I am sure that if I did, I would take advantage of it. They also have a pool with the same view. As a note, JW Marriott is in the process of partnering with them and building their first resort in Portugal. You do have the construction site to left of the hotel, but it not an issue IMO and didn’t really damage the view from our room (and wasn’t noisy.) The resort is being built into the mountain so as not to obstruct the view. The hotel part we are in will be connected, but for adults only. Nice touch. Supposed to be done in 2028. I would recommend this hotel in a minute. It was lovely to be able to have serious R&R if you are traveling and need a place to just breathe and relax for a time.

    Super Golf and incredible hotelSecond year we spend a week in this incredible hotel that unfortunately will be abandoned once the new one close by is build. i strongly suggest enjoying it as long as it is possible view cleanness food nothing is disappointing

    My Husband and I stayed here for 4 nights just two weeks ago and I have to say that is a lovely quiet place with large rooms and large balconies facing the ocean. But I must say that the resort and rooms need some freshening up, walls need fresh paint and floors/ decking need a redo. Everything was just tiered looking. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with one exception, when I asked how we access the beach I was told to just take the path to the right of the building and it just a 10 minute walk. That was not the case,we walked about a mile down to the train tracks in front of the beach but there was no access. When we hiked back up the hill and talked to a different staff member we were told that we could get there by car. So my point is that there is no easy beach access from the resort. I thought the food at the restaurant was just average.

    Perfect, quiet hotel for our golfing holiday

    We absolutely loved this hotel. It was very well appointed and extremely quiet. The breakfast and dinners were excellent, with super staff and service. The reception staff were always super helpful and charming - nothing was too much trouble. We played golf on the adjoining course every morning and spent our quiet afternoons by the pool - just idyllic. It couldn’t have been more perfect and I feel sure we will be back for another visit and more golf here!
