    Lovely stay

    rating27 Sept 2025

We are here now, it’s a lovely complex a mix of hotel, apartments and camping, on-site bars and restaurant, and a large supermarket just over the road. The staff are all very friendly great location, water taxi is very regular to Korcula for €3 or €20 for a whole day hop on hop off ticket around some of the surrounding islands. The apartment itself is perfect for 2 people would be a squish with more but it’s very clean, lovely shower and very comfortable beds, kitchen is fairly well equipped although I feel a toaster and some wooden spoons would be a good addition! Housekeeping called daily. All in all we’ve had a lovely stay and would definitely return if we visit the area again. There are lots of cats around who seem to be well looked after by a local lady.Visit the beach bar down the track at the end of the apartments it’s lovely.

Amazing staff but accommodations and services fell short

    rating04 Sept 2025

We stayed in a blue and white holiday home. The staff at check in were very friendly and we saw them constantly maintaining the grounds. The home was in a shaded area by the campground and it was essentially a mobile home. While it had two bathrooms, the bedrooms were too small to open up our suitcases so we had the slide them under the beds. We did have ants in the home as well which was not ideal with suitcases on the floor. We ended up waking the 2 kms into town quite often as we didn’t really enjoy the resort amenities. Pool chairs were impossible to find - in fact people lined up before the pool opening. We did not want to sit out all day so were unable to find a place to sit. Lounge chairs at the rock beach were 8 euros for the day and there were not many of them. We found that charge strange since pool loungers were free. Most of the restaurants were closed so we did not try food. There was a grocery store located across the road which was helpful. Accommodations were as expensive as full apartments in other parts of Croatia as well so we expected more than what it was. Overall it was not really our type of place to stay and we would not return but if you like basics and camping, it could be fine. We wanted to enjoy it but in the end we were happy to leave.

Great holidays at hotel Aminess Port 9

    rating18 Aug 2025

Hotel Aminess Port 9 Vival in Korčula is an excellent choice for a relaxing holiday. The rooms are clean and well maintained on a daily basis by the friendly housekeeping staff. The food is good – although last year the selection was richer, this year everything is made up for by the outstanding chef Mirsad, whose grill dishes taste absolutely heavenly. Special compliments go to him for his excellent culinary skills. The entire hotel staff – from reception to the restaurant and the pool – are very kind, helpful, and hospitable. An additional touch of luxury is the Rituals collection in the bathroom, which was a very pleasant surprise.I gladly recommend this hotel and rate it with 4 stars. Aminess Quality Department, Owner at Aminess Vival Port9 Residence, responded to this review Dear Inci-InesThank you very much for your kind and detailed feedback. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us, from the clean and comfortable rooms to the friendly service of our entire team.We are especially pleased that Chef Mirsad’s culinary skills made such a positive impression – your compliments will be shared with him and the kitchen team. It’s also wonderful to know that the Rituals collection added an extra touch to your experience. We truly appreciate your recommendation and 4-star rating, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Port 9 for another relaxing and memorable holiday. With warm regards,Aminess Port9 Resort

    Not a 4 star holiday

    rating11 Jul 2025

The location is absolutely beautiful, especially overlooking the sea with rocks to sit and swim off. The complex is an unusual mix of hotel, self catering and camping. The infinity pools is over crowded with very loud music and foot baths were empty on some days or looked fetid on others. Grounds were once beautiful I suspect but currently looking unkempt. Litter often was lying round. 2 salt water pools were nice bit were emptied twice and out of service making tger other pool busier. The self catering apartment we were in was at best a 2 star apartment. The living space was tiny and by the time the very rickety sofa bed was pulled out you cohkd nkt even walk round tge table, never-mind try to nake something in the kitchenette. The kitchenette was so tiny and cupboard units were so crooked, making the microwave on such a slant that it barely turned. This was not a fully equipped kitchen. The air-conditioning was only in the living area making the bedroom sweltering if anyone wanted any privacy and on arrival our apartment was dirty. We have been here a week ( we have 12 days here) and the sheets have still not been changed at all but they do empty the bin daily and change towels whemn you ask. Pleasant staff, just let down by poor apartment- we will ne gojmg home rested from the lovely location but covered in bruises from sticking out metal on the sofa bed and being so cramped in the apartment. The apartments are different to the hotel and they feel like lile an inferior second sadly. With a little work it coukd be a beautiful site but given the accommodation, this is more of a 2 star holiday. Aminess Quality Department, Owner at Aminess Vival Port9 Residence, responded to this review Dear RBjenk,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're very glad to hear that you enjoyed the beautiful location and the natural surroundings — the sea views and rocky coastline truly are something special. We’re also pleased to know that our staff left a positive impression and that you appreciated the saltwater pools when they were available. However, we’re truly sorry to hear that your stay in the self-catering apartment did not meet expectations. We understand how important comfort and cleanliness are, and it’s disappointing to learn that your apartment felt cramped, inadequately equipped, and was not properly cleaned upon arrival. Your remarks about the condition of the furniture and kitchen facilities are taken seriously, and we’ll be sure to forward this to our maintenance and housekeeping teams for review and improvement. It’s also important to note that our resort offers a mix of hotel rooms, self-catering units, and camping options, each with different standards and services. However, no guest should feel like they are receiving an inferior experience, and we’re sorry that this was your impression.Thank you again for your honest comments — they help us improve. We hope you enjoy the rest of your stay and that you leave with some fond memories despite the inconveniences.Kind regards,Aminess Port9 Resort Management
