Location

This aparthotel is some 200 m from the beach. A bus stop is around 50 m from the hotel. The centre of Alvor and many restaurants, bars and shops are approximately 1 km away. Portimão is roughly 5 km from the hotel, whilst Faro airport is approximately 70 km away.

Facility

55 apartments are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. English-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a TV room, a playroom and a library. The freshwater pool complex includes indoor and outdoor pools, which are in part heated, as well as a children's swimming area. Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant with air conditioning, a café and a bar. Half board is offered as a catering option. For breakfast, lunch and dinner, guests serve themseves at the buffet or choose their preferred fare from the menu (for lunch and dinner).     A really nice small hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was always fresh and hot. The hotel is very clean and tidy. As it is a small hotel the noise levels are low with no disturbances at night. The rooms are cleaned every day and are a nice size. We think that this is a good value hotel. There was no sunbed reserving and we never had an issue finding beds to lie on which was a bonus. We arrived at 11am and were given our room within 10 minutes even though the official check in is not until 4pm.The location is the only fault that we could find. It is on the outskirts of town and is about a 10-15 minute walk to the main street where the bars and restuarants are. This walk includes hills, so for anyone with limited mobility this could be an issue. We do not think that this was stated clearly enough in the Jet2 advert.     Excellent hotel

    We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The staff went above and beyond in their service. We had a one bed apartment which was excellent, outstandingly clean and well serviced whilst there. Two bathrooms were an asset and a lovely sized terraced which overlooked the pool area together with table, chairs and sun beds. We went early May so a little early in the season and the hotel was very quiet. Ideally placed (although it is accessed via a hill) but close to village, beaches and boardwalk. We only had breakfast on a couple of occasions which was ok but not outstanding for an English breakfast and used the village for main meals so cannot comment on the food quality overall. Our beds were on the hard side and we requested mattresses toppers which were put on the beds the same day and helped. Overall we would highly recommend this hotel for friendliness and excellent service. We will definitely be booking again.     Relaxing clean hotel

    Pestana alvor park is situated a few minutes walk from alvor Town centre, we had a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious, the kitchen was fully equipped, it had two bathrooms, lovely fluffy dressing gowns and towels too, you can also get pool towels from reception if you want them,the whole hotel was very clean, your room is cleaned daily, all staff were very friendly and helpful . The out door pool was quite cool , I enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi.     Absolutely spotless and a treat to stay in,everyone was very nice and friendly and the staff are so attentive,everyone had a smile and could not do enough for you,er will definitely be back sooner rather than later. A great snack bar for afternoons and the menu at night in there restaurantnwas very varied.     My second solo visit to the Pestana Alvor Park. Decided to upgrade to Premium Studio and it was worth every penny, it wasn't much more to be honest. Room was fantastic, spotlessly clean and very spacious. I loved being able to have the separate seating area, and the balcony well that was the game changer for me - sun trap with table and chairs and a sunbed. Yes it faced onto the road but to be honest the view and the size of the balcony and my well used sunbed made up for any road noise. Staff again were lovely and so pleasant. The common areas of the hotel are spotless. When going on my solo trips to Alvor I can't see me staying anywhere else.
