Location

This holiday complex is located on a plateau above the beautiful bay of Praia Vale de Centianes whose sandy beach can be reached by descending a flight of steps. The centre of the picturesque fishing village of Carvoeiro is approximately from the complex. The nearest airport is 60 km away.

Facility

In addition to 79 villas/houses, this spacious property also includes a residential complex composed of two 2-storey buildings. Guests can choose between 79 apartments. This apartment hotel has a lift and a reception desk. Amenities include a safe and a currency exchange service. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the car park. Further services include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a childcare service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Rooms

    My/our stay at Pestana Palm Gardens was epic and exceeded our expectations. It was our first time in Portugal and we didn't know what to expect but the resort, location and customer service exhibited by the staff were amazingly OUTSTANDING. They provided me with a list of things to do in the local area and recommended excursions and area attractions from shopping to the caves. Thank you for ALL you done to make our trip so memorable. We loved our resort rooms, roomy, clean and spacious and full stocked with utensils and dishes. Also, we had fresh linen and towels every day.     Pestana Palm Gardens in lovely Carvoeiro

    This was our second visit to Pestana Palm Gardens in Carvoeiro. Both times, we stayed in a two-bedroom townhouse style unit with full kitchen. The premium sea view option is definitely a treat, but the garden view is also nice. The property is quite large and full of trees and plants and has a beautiful pool which is quiet in April. The front desk management is exceptional. There is a lovely beach, Centeanes, within a short walking distance, lots of restaurants on Farol Street and large grocery stores a short drive away. A car is useful but there are buses and taxis.     Excellent stay. Very clean and spacious facilities. Great value for money and very comfortable. We loved this accommodation and would highly recommend. We enjoyed the restaurant and bar facilities - both were fabulous. We especially enjoyed the warm and welcoming attention of Igor who was always professional and wonderful.     Really enjoyable stay

    Staff are lovely and extremely helpful. We found the location right by the hiking trails so good and the views from our room were fantastic. Can recommend the breakfast and we ate in the evening as well and really enjoyed our meal. The pool area was clean and the pool staff were busy every morning checking everything. Can recommend Palm Gardens for its location. We are quite active and were able to walk into Carvoeiro in about 15/20 minutes for bars and restaurants if you don't always want to eat on site. We will definitely return.     Initial looks are deceiving - lovely hotel

    When we arrived in our taxi I wondered if we had made a mistake booking the hotel as some of the outside areas look a bit run down. But it was really good value so I told myself it would be ok. What a pleasant surprise we had when we got into our lovely 2 bedroom sea view apartment. We had booked a 1 bed and not sea view so this was a great surprise. Really nicely decorated and very clean. The pool area was great too. Plenty of sunloungers. Cute pool bar. We picked the hotel as its close to the Seven Hanging Valleys hike and we dont have a car so its location was perfect for us. Lots of nice beaches nearby, and a 15 minute walk to town for restuarants and bars.
