Location

This comfortable hotel is located close to the city centre where guests will discover many shopping and entertainment venues. The beach, as well as public transport links, restaurants and bars, are all situated about 100m from the hotel.

Facility

78 suites and 143 apartments are located on 3 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day. Amenities available at the apartment hotel include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the apartment hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden.     We are staying here right now. Bars closed. Restaurants closed. Things aren’t good beware! We stay here a lot and it’s not what it used to be. Mare restaurant destroyed in winter storms. No main bar apart from outside!!!

    Absolute shambles; no help when we came to the hotel. No parking despite saying there is; had to look around for 45 minutes for a spot. No one told us where things were around the hotel when we came. And we are staying in a room with a 4 year who has been trying to sleep when there's a massive wedding right outside our room. No help or alternatives given. Phoned the team 5 times and always got told we would get called back and didn't get called back; told the volume would go down; it didn't. Very poor experience. If a zero rating could be given, I would give it.

    We are repeat guests here having been here three other times. Standards have fallen off drastically. Ring the concierge takes 20 minutes to get an answer. Shuttle takes 45 minutes to arrive minimum. Pools get closed randomly for events leaving kids stuck using much smaller pools and waiting for shuttles to bring us around the resort. Service at pools is exceptionally slow. Better to bring your own drinks as it takes ages to get a drink. Golf course tee boxes and fairways are not in great condition. Previously a fantastic resort. Unfortunately, the standards have plummeted. Don’t think we’ll bother coming back.

    Pine cliffs seems to be gone downhill since my last visit is 2025. The beach restaurant is closed- apparently storm damage happened in January 2026- no sign of progress reopening it 5 months later- if always has been an important attraction at Pine Cliffs I queried this when booking but got no response to email. No towel service on beach which was previously available - bring your own now.No food & drinks service on beach. Golf club will not allow residents store their golf clubs in the secure compound-apparently they don’t want to be responsible for them. Anyway - just looks like cutbacks in service/ cost. It’s really heavily occupied, clearly the accountants are running the show- seems to have conferences/ business groups in the mix. Not a 5 star resort in my opinion. Overall an average experience for the cost.
