Location

This first-class hotel is located in the leisure district of Vale Do Garrão above the nature reserve of Ría Formosa. Beautiful sandy Garrão beach is just 800 m from the hotel; Ancão beach is 1 km away. The tourist centre of Almancil with its an abundance of shops and other entertainment venues lies a mere 2 km from the hotel. The town of Faro and the airport are 12 km away and can be reached in 20 min on public transport.

Facility

The hotel has 175 non-smoking rooms, which are located on 2 storeys and are reachable by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are ready to assist you with check-in and check-out. Amenities include a cloakroom, baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and cash machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A generous breakfast buffet guarantees a great start to the day. Lunch is served as à la carte, and guests can choose between a buffet, à la carte and a set menu for dinner.     Beautiful hotel based close to the beach.

    When you arrive you a met with a beautiful large auditorium, with ironwork everywhere and helpful reception and conciege staff (Special mention to Jose) who make you feel welcome from the off, although we arrived hours before checkin time we were made to feel at home and given access to get food, use the showers and pool.Our room was of a good size with a comfy bed and powerful shower over bath, the balcony area was large with 2 chairs and a small table on, looking out over the gardens and towards the sea, we even caught a sunrise from our balcony on our last morning.Breakfast was a self-service buffet with lots of choice and plenty of juices, coffees and other drinks to chose from. We ate lunch at the poolside bar each day of our stay and were impressed with the choice and quality of the food on offer, the service was fantastic, the only small disappointment was the lack of icecreams available from the bar.We ate once at the hotel restaurant which was a fantastic experience, the staff were attentive and polite, the food was tasty and well seasoned, the fish soup was amazing and the seafood cataplana was the highlight of our trip with superb content and flavours. There is an extensive wine list to suit all budgets and tastes.The gym is well stocked although some of the machines could do with some TLC, we both had massages that were very nicely conducted, the steam room wasn't warm enough for our liking however the jacuzzi was lovely and warm.Altogether an enjoyable experience and a recommended stay.

    Great but parking is a nightmare

    This is a lovely hotel with one very big drawback. To start with all the positives; my (garden) room was lovely, spacious and clean. Breakfast was excellent, staff were kind and helpful, and the pool was lovely. On the basis of all that I would happily give it 5 stars.The very big downside, however, was parking or the near total lack of it. The hotel has no car park - astonishing for a hotel of this quality - and it was a nightmare trying to find somewhere to park my hire car during the 10 days of my stay. Even worse the very narrow driveway around the hotel was so full of cars that there were often only mms on each side of my car as I inched my way in and out. Surely for a hotel of this quality they must be able to do better. If not, they need to warn their guests in advance of the parking problem and offer them some advice on where they can park.

    Beautiful Resort Hotel

    Oh my gosh! This is a beautiful hotel and resort within walking distance to the beach. The grounds are immaculate. You could tell the staff both inside the hotel and outside were very proud of their responsibilities. The pool area is gorgeous with a waterfall and plenty of lounges. The beach is about .3km (1/4 mile) down the road. There is supposedly a shuttle available until 7:00pm. We walked easily to the beach---selected an outdoor dining restaurant (there are several) and ordered a bottle of wine to enjoy while enjoying the scenery. The food selections looked wonderful though. Breakfast at the hotel was beautiful.

    Promised tranquility & luxury, got parties & poor service

    Hotel clearly promotes itself as a tranquil getaway. Their own copy says ‘Ideal choice for tranquillity and a relaxing break’ and as a ‘world of tranquillity’ ‘set in a quiet location’ that ‘offers a unique location to enjoy your vacations in absolute tranquillity.' However while the first part of our stay was quite tranquil, the second half was ruined as they held a large gathering of international running teams without notifying other patrons. I was amongst other disgruntled customers who could now no longer use the pool or even sit out on their balcony without the noise of large groups carrying portable speakers and parting by the pool, group bombing into the pool for their selfies, wrestling, screaming and yelling across the gardens to eachother - anything but tranquil. I complained but was told guests were 'free to party'. The problem with this hotel is that it's in quite an isolated location, and the restaurant isn't great, so you really are compromising in order to get the tranquility. If you don't have that, then you may as well go somewhere else where you at least will have better access to other attractions, you know what to expect from what they promise and where you'll probably get much better value for money.

    Algarve A relaxing hotel set in decoration.gardens with the Ria Firmosa Natural Park in the peaceful atmosphere of its secluded location, it plans offer good quality accomodations that suite a wide range of holiday makers. The hotel is just 20 minutes away from Faro International Airport situatedin vale do lobo and 800 mters from a beautiful Sandy beach.over looking the AtlanticOcean.
