Location

This aparthotel is situated in Albufeira's leisure district, directly in the tourist centre of the town and within a few minutes' walk of the town centre. The fine sandy beach of Praia da Falésia is approximately 1 km from the hotel. Countless restaurants, lively bars, links to the public transport network as well as a golf course are all in the hotel's vicinity. Faro Airport is 30 km from the hotel.

Facility

The apartment hotel has 185 apartments, which are located on 5 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A number of shops, including a souvenir shop, are great for shopping or just browsing. The grounds of the apartment hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Sport

While the adults swim a few laps in the outdoor pool, children can enjoy splashing about in their own swimming area. A short break or an entire afternoon on the sun terrace, which features sun loungers and parasols, is time well spent. A variety of refreshing drinks await guests at the pool bar. A variety of activities are available at the hotel, for example cycling/mountain biking and bocce or, for a fee, golf and fishing. With snorkelling or, for a fee, water skiing, jet skiing, paddle boating, banana boat rides, canoeing and kayaking available, fans of water sports have plenty of options to choose from. Sport and leisure facilities at the apartment hotel include table tennis, billiards and darts. At the hotel offers excellent facilities for leisure and relaxation, including a kids' club, a kids' disco and a casino.

Meals

Dining facilities include a restaurant, a café and a bar. Catering options include bed and breakfast, half board and all-inclusive. A generous breakfast buffet, lunch and a dinner from the buffet or à la carte offer plenty of delicious variety. Diet meals, gluten-free meals, vegetarian dishes and children's meals can be prepared on request. In addition, special catering options and snacks are available.     Fabulous hotel with fabulous staff!

    We chose Portugal in May half term for our family holiday to avoid the sweltering summer heat. Typically, there was an 'unprecedented heatwave' whilst we were there - mid 30s most days!! So apart from it being very hot, everything else was just fabulous!We booked a 2 bed apartment with a pool view. It was perfect for our family, with 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The living space was good and well equipped and we had 2 balconies - 1 for sitting and the other we used for drying our wet stuff (the apartment had a clothes drier which was a godsend - why doesn't everywhere provide this?!!)Also, on arrival, each guest is given a voucher for a pool towel. These can be changed daily for a fresh towel, to avoid sopping wet/musty towels.The hotel staff were all amazing, especially those in the restaurant. We were greeted every mealtime with smiling faces and warm welcomes! Reception staff were also very helpful, assisting any queries with ease.We chose All Inclusive for this holiday and weren't disappointed.The food was excellent. Always plentiful and hot. We loved trying the array of salads on offer - who knew a Russian seafood salad would taste so good??! The pizzas were also amazing! You can easily walk to Falesia beach in about 15mins. There are a lot of steps down to the beach, so not good for those who are less mobile. There are sunbeds/parasols to hire if needed. There is also a good cafe and toilet.There are a few shops and a small supermarket nearby but not much else.We visited Vilamoura Marina (to look at the fancy boats and cars!), Aquashow waterpark (excellent day out!) and Old Town Albufeira. We travelled using Ubers which were pretty cheap and convenient.We also did a 4x4 jeep tour (4hr trip) with Alsafari Tours. This was epic - something you'll never forget! Our guide John was wonderful and kept us all thoroughly entertained! Be prepared to be hot, sweaty and dusty though (plenty of suncream and water is needed and don't wear your best clothes!!)Thank you for a wonderful holiday!!We would definitely return to The Patio Suite Hotel 😎

    Amazing hotel

    Stayed at the patio hotel mid may and w had an amazing stay! When we arrived at midday the room wasn’t ready but we were able to make use of the all inclusive and leave our bags. We went down to the beach nearby and the hotel text us when the room was ready which made it easier for us! The food was varied each night with home made pizza and garlic bread every lunch and dinner! Perfect for me and my partner as we are quite fussy eaters. Food was replaced very often and did not take long to come back out.Drinks service was amazing in the resturant , staff always asking if you would like another drink. The rooms were nice, slightly dated but had no issues at all. Our rooms had a kitchen and living area with balcony so lots of room! This would be a good hotel for families due to the size of the room. There are 2 pool areas. 1 we found was surrounded by trees which didn’t tend to get the sun very much(only if you sit on certain sunbeds) the pool near the main bar was lovely however was always very busy with people going out to get sunbeds around 8am but not a problem for us as we are early risers. Hotel has a free shuttle to the beach and old town which we made use of, you do have to book at reception but we were always able to get on whatever time we wanted even on the day. Overall fab stay and will definitely be returning with more of the family. Thank you again patio suite hotel!

    We had "All Inclusive" in other Countries before and finding something in Portugal was difficult. In the end, we payed more than we were used to. In return we got huge rooms and great people all around, from reception, service, wait staff - top notch.A nice beach is walking distance and there is shuttle service, too. No hotel-owned beach, though, so shade costs extra. Trips can be arranged by the hotel for a fair price. If you want to go exploring on your own, you probably need a car.

    Our stay at The Patio Suite Hotel in Albufeira was nothing short of exceptional from the moment we arrived until the day we left. Every single aspect of our vacation was perfectly looked after by the wonderful team here. The service was flawless, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our entire stay.The accommodation itself was outstanding; our room was incredibly spacious, modern, and kept spotlessly clean by the housekeeping team. We were also highly impressed by the food, which was delicious, fresh, and offered a fantastic variety of flavors every day.Logistics were completely stress-free thanks to the excellent and convenient parking facilities on-site. To top it all off, the hotel boasts a perfect location that serves as an ideal base for exploring the beauty of Albufeira. We honestly cannot find a single flaw and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a perfect holiday. We will definitely return!

    We were a large family group with grandparents, parents and children. We all had a great time and found the Patio Hotel everything we hoped it would be.The food was good. Not loads of choice but more than enough. Everything was usually lovely (with the odd exception which is personal taste). Everything on the hot plates is replaced regularly even if it’s not been eaten.The kids really enjoyed kids club and asked to go there every day. The staff were kind and friendly and worked hard.Probably the only things to improve are that the pools need a pool vacuum to be running at night to clear any sand or leaves which fall to the bottom. And the glasses in the evening should all be glass not plastic. It’s understandable during the daytime and around the pool but not during the evening.
