Location

This stylish hotel is situated on a cliff, overlooking the sea, with a magnificent view over the bay. The hotel is built in a traditional Algarve style, with a Moorish influence. The centre of Carvoeiro is only about 1 km away and is easily and quickly reached with the hotel bus, which runs 2 to 3 times per day. Hotel-owned Vale do Covo bay is found 50 metres away (accessed down a flight of stairs that is restricted at high tide). Further beaches are located only 900 metres away. Scores of shops, restaurants, bars, pubs, discos and clubs are just 80 metres from the hotel. Faro airport is located around 50 km away.

Facility

293 rooms, including 4 junior suites and 4 suites, are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by 5 lifts. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. There are a number of shops as well. The grounds of the hotel feature a playground and a lovely garden. Additional amenities include a newspaper stand, a TV room and a playroom. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park. Further services and facilities include a 24-hour security service, a babysitting service, a car hire service, medical assistance, a transfer service, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry. Daily newspapers are available for purchase. A business centre with fax machine and projector is available.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the sea view from a balcony or terrace. All rooms are carpeted and include a double bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms can be booked. Children's beds and extra beds can be requested for younger guests. A safe, a minibar and a desk are also available. Guests will also find a tea/coffee station included among the standard features. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Slippers are included. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. A hairdryer, bathrobes and a telephone are available for daily use. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. Guests can work out or just relax in the outdoor and indoor pools. Kids can splash about in a special swimming area just for them. Refreshing drinks at the pool bar and a relaxing soak in the hot tub offer the perfect way to unwind. A sun terrace, sun loungers, and parasols are available. Those who wish to stay active while on holiday can enjoy on-site archery. For a fee, golf is also available. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy snorkelling and diving. Sport and leisure facilities at the hotel include a gym and yoga. There is a wellness area with a spa, a sauna, a steam bath, a hammam and a beauty salon. Subject to charge: massage treatments. Guests of all ages have the opportunity to enjoy an entertainment programme.

Meals

The dining area includes a bar. Guests can enjoy the culinary delights of the non-smoking, air-conditioned restaurant, which provides high chairs for children. Catering options include half board and full board. A generous breakfast buffet gives guests many delicious reasons to get out of bed in the morning. At lunch and dinner, there are plenty of tempting options at the buffet or à la carte. Dinner is also served as a set menu. Special meals, including diet meals, are also available. The hotel also offers special catering options.

    Beautiful resort that is very family-friendly. The views were stunning, and the food was excellent. There were plenty of activities for kids, and the Junior Club was outstanding. The daily activities, including face painting, kept our daughter entertained and engaged throughout our stay. She truly enjoyed every moment.     Wonderful holiday in a lovely hotel

    Our second stay in this lovely hotel and it didn't disappoint.The location is stunning with beautiful views over the sea.Lovely pool area with great service for food and drinks sitting by the pool.Breakfast is excellent with a great range of hot and cold options, particularly nice if you get an outside table. Good selection of bars and restaurants in the hotel the Sky Bar is particularly nice for an evening cocktail or a photo opportunity, they serve great sushi and Asian food.The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the centre of Carvoiero and there's a really nice boardwalk along the cliffs for a morning stroll.We found some lovely restaurants in Carvoiero for dinner some standouts were L'Etxea, Chefs Kitchen, Le Cro, Gumtree and Villa Medici.We had a wonderful relaxing holiday and will definitely be back.     Excellent and relaxing break

    Once again the Tivoli has not disappointed.  Lovely sea view, friendly staff and great pool service. Sushi bar very good and great for 'selfies' if one ever felt the need ! Tuk tuk into and more importantly back from the village made grazing in the local restaurants [of which there are some exceptional ones] a pleasure. Bar staff a bit sleepy but it was hot and big groups [finance bro's] probably made their life miserable. Will be back next year unless we win the lotto !

    A little honest review of our stay…For the price you pay to stay here, we were honestly a bit underwhelmed.We did get upgraded when we arrived, which was appreciated, but our view came with a construction site front and centre. The minibar had a half-empty bottle left behind, our coffee setup had no cups or supplies, and some of the lights in our room weren’t working properly. We were told someone would come back to fix them… but that never happened.Day two, the room was cleaned, but dirty wine glasses and coffee cups were left behind and the coffee bar still wasn’t restocked 😕Now… the Skye Bar.Definitely go. Definitely grab a drink. Definitely watch the sun go down because the setting is beautiful.But the sushi restaurant? Save your money.The presentation was gorgeous, but the sushi itself was just OK. Service was disappointing and for the price of a glass of wine, you’d hope for more than four sips 🤦‍♀️We honestly left feeling like the place catered more to the Instagram crowd, who seemed to get plenty of attention… and noticeably more generous pours.Beautiful spot for sunset cocktails? Absolutely.Dinner? We’d totally skip it. 2 people 2 drinks each €200!!!The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are generous and very clean, the pool area is fantastic. If only they had painted the decking anything other, but a dark color. Your feet burned instantly standing on the surface.Would we come here again, I don’t think so, to the area absolutely!
