    My first impression was not great- several notices about charging for breakages, water bottles and not taking food from breakfast. Also only 2 teabags in our room. However staff were extremely helpful and polite, phoning taxi for us etc. The breakfast was good with lots of choice and our room was spacious and very clean. The pool area was good and in the sun most of the day. Location good beside a supermarket and several restaurants. A good basic hotel.

    Great hotel for walkers or cyclists

    Ideally situated hotel for walking on the Atlantic and Fisherman’s Trail. Our room was spacious, clean and modern with a kitchen, living room, separate bedroom and bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool area is ok with plenty of sunbeds. Other guests were using the pool but commenting how cold it was. There was too much breakfast food laid out on each table to be consumed in one sitting,and this accumulated in large amounts of waste food. It would have been better as a buffet help yourself style.

    This place is clearly showing its age. It’s ok. Clean. Staff are pleasant. But lounge chairs by the pool are falling apart. Large and noisy tour groups there. Breakfast area is drab and breakfast was mediocre. I can’t imagine there aren’t nicer places to stay at.

    A really nice well run modern hotel, clean, great service (e.g. laundry same afternoon evening), spacious room.Well located with supermarket, Pharmacy, nice Bistro all very close.It echoed a bit in the room, but this was more about an antisocial family group with kids shouting, adults talking loudly going between rooms and slamming doors late on a Saturday evening, than the hotel.
