Location

Located in the heart of the Algarve, Albufeira, the hotel offers the very best location to explore the Algarve. Facility

16 apartments are available to guests. English-speaking staff are happy to assist and advise. Amenities include a cloakroom, a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available. There are also a number of shops that make for great strolling and browsing. The grounds of the apartment complex feature a playground and a lovely garden. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage or in the car park.     Very clean inside and out. Great outdoor space, the pool was very quiet we mostly had it to ourselves and it was really nice to have a private garden. The accommodation is very spacious, if a little dated but clean and does the job. Staff super friendly. The sushi restaurant is lovely and the homemade lemonade is delicious. Only criticism would be you can really hear the people above you and I did loose a nights sleep due to banging and crashing until gone 2am.

    Brilliant holiday 15 min in a taxi to the old town and the strip . Lovly and clean apartment 5 min walk to a lovly beach down the road

    Myself and adult daughters stayed here in Oct 25. We wanted a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the busy resort centres and found this beautiful little gem Vila Do Castelo. All I can say is it was just perfect for us in everyway! The 2 bed ground floor apartment was spotless and spacious with a garden with your own sun beds, and access to the pool, there is a seperate BBQ area that we used and a restaurant on site. There are 2 beaches just 5 minutes away down hill, but manageable, and a cafe/ restaurant on each. We booked taxis when we wanted to access the old town for a wander and restaurants and a bigger supermarket €6 approx. The staff are experienced and so polite and helpful. We loved it so much, we have booked again for Oct 26 and we are already excited to be going back!

    Quiet and cared for apartment with outside space

    We spent a few nights in a second floor 2 bed apartment with our kids, it was clean and the staff we saw were helpful. The apartment was well laid out and the area quiet during our stay. The beach and clifftops were a short walk away and were beautiful. Albufeira was a short drive away and the location was central to most areas of the Algarve. A car was definitely necessary in order to get around and see the wider area. There were also supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Main downside for me was the local tourism tax applied to everyone over 13 years which I think is unfair and unexpected (2 Euros per day per person - soon adds up)

    Just returned from wonderful 4 night stay at Vila do Castelo. The appartment was very clean and tidy with all we needed for a self catering stay. The grounds and pool of the complex were near immaculate, with lovely lawns and planting.All staff we met were very freindly and accomodating.The area was nice and quiet during our visit, with a lovely beach just a 5 minute walk away and plenty of resteraunts within a short walk away.We wanted a quiet break in the sun and that is exactly what was delivered.
