    I've been coming to cerro alagoa in April for many years.The reason why? It's a very well run hotel in an excellent position very clean with friendly staff.Theres a huge choice at breakfast all very fresh and well presented.Another little touch was a bottle of wine and a huge slice of birthday cake and grapes for my 70th birthday.Iwould recommend this hotel without a doubt and can't wait to come back next year.     We had a lovely time at this hotel. The staff are happy and friendly. The food was really good quality. The outdoor pool is large (cold in April, but we expected that). The indoor heated pool was a nice bonus in April. The bedrooms are a good size (I had an extra bed in mine for me and my 2 kids) we still had space either side of the 3 beds to get in the large wardrobe or sit at the table. It was nice to have a balcony (but road noise was a bit loud at times out the front of hotel). I'd request a back room (pool view) next time. The hotel is in a good location, we walked to the beach most days (10 mins walk) coming back from the beach is uphill, so took longer! The kids enjoyed the games room, they played pool (7.50 euro) and table tennis (free) and table football (1 euro). We used the tourist train to explore, there is a stop right outside the hotel and the train is a good price at 7 euro a day. We also used Uber, which was a reasonable price aswell. £8 euro to get to Zoo Marine (well worth a visit if u have kids, the shows are great).We would all go back to this hotel. We attended the "meet the manager" one night. He was a lovely man, who really listened to our feedback. It's a huge hotel to manage, I don't envy his job!     Lovely slightly old-fashioned (in a nice way) hotel. Great location and friendly service. Breakfast was excellent - plenty of choice and we had the evening buffet several times - again plenty of choice. The restaurant staff are very quick at clearing plates away - usually with a small. We made use of the indoor pool, gym, sauna and jacuzzi - all good.
