  An obnoxiously noisy hotel experience

  If you're looking for a relaxing and peaceful experience, like most people staying in a hotel do, I suggest you find another hotel to book into. It is absolutely impossible to get any sleep in this hotel due to the horrendous volume the music is played at in the restaurant at nighttime. And - as you can guess - there is no way you can stay at the restaurant ulnless you want to risk a loss of hearing. We had to leave the restaurant because our ears hurt.The staff was partly unprofessional as well: there was a female bouncer who was really rude to several customers, as well as a male waiter who seemed very uninterested in working there at all. Luckily, some of the other staff was very friendly, especially the personnel at the reception. Also, when it comes to food, the bacon was surprisingly delicious and crispy, which isn't common at all when it comes to bacon that's being served at a breakfast buffet.I really hope the hotel management will take seriously the issue of the noise coming from the restaurant. It doesn't only scare away us customers but it also clearly affects the wellbeing of the staff working at the restaurant - and I honestly can't blame them. Their working conditions are absolutely inhumane.At the moment I can only recommend this hotel as a place of holding daytime meetings. If you're planning an overnight stay, please choose some other place to stay at.   Loved the restaurants but bars can be an issue

  Had a longer stay here for business and while it was generally a good experience, the basement nightclub can be an issue due to the noise so best to stay on a higher floor. Otherwise the room was fine even if not too big and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast had many Nordic staples such as the porridge and Finnish pastries. The Amarillo restaurant on the reception level has super tasty snacks and proper meals as well and their drink menu is quite extensive, including a very tasty mango margarita. Currently the hotel’s gym is undergoing renovation so working out possibility is offered at the Elixia gym which is about a seven minute walk away. The undoubted advantage of the hotel is its proximity to Helsinki airport, in good traffic conditions the drive is less than ten minutes.   Never seen such a noisy hotel

  I was here for a business trip. The first thing that struck was the fact that the heating could not be switched off. It made a hell of noise though. Half of the lamps were broken and there were lots of switches that did nothing. All the furniture is horribly outdated. Besides this, it turned out that people come here to party all night in the breakfast parlour and in their rooms. Unfortunately also next to mine, although they barely overstemmed the noise of the heating. Let me add to this that the breakfast was good and the room was clean (although they do not clean it after you have arrived). Do not go here if you want to sleep.

  Something nice, something dull

  The common spaces look so old and have a smell of old alcohol and desinfection chemicals over the decades, but the room was ok. I was there on Friday night and asked for a quiet room not distrurbed by the disco, and I did. The room was old but functional, no complaints about that. The breakfast variety was plenty, but the breakfast room in the disco is far from nice, and even in the morning the music was quite loud.This hotel is a good option if you are travelling by air or train.   Old, expensive, 80s

  Very expensive hotel for it’s quality. Water runs down inside of the walls and interior is 80s at its best. The price-quality ratio does not match. 60€ hotel maximum. Good location close to the train station and airport. Good luck whit the mold.
