This hotel is located in Miramar, one of San Juan's most historic neighbourhoods overlooking the Condado Lagoon, right on Ponce de Leon Avenue. Guests will find links to the public transport network right on the doorstep and it is only a short walk to the Puerto Rico Convention Centre, bars (50 m), restaurants (100 m), cinemas, shops, nightlife, the beaches of Condado (500 m) and the San Juan Marina. The cruise ship jetties and historical Old San Juan (5 km) are just minutes away. Isla Verde International Airport is just 2 km from the hotel.

Facility

The hotel has 31 single rooms and 19 double rooms, which are located on 9 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions. A baggage storage service, safe, currency exchange service and drinks machine are available. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The hotel offers various facilities for guests with disabilities. Wheelchair-accessible facilities are available.     We stayed 2 nights before our cruise. These pictures ARE not accurate, They should refund our money due to fraud! The TV did not work, the rooms were terrible, non modernized. They should be ashamed of themselves for false advertising we were a group of 13 and were miserable here. Definitely not worth the 380.00 a night we paid. The staff could not assist with anything, could not even recommend local sports, the bar was closed and sold off and not open, no rooftop, nothing as pictures indicated. The pictures must be AI generated. The beds were full, not queen as requested either. Very disappointing! We told staff that the pictures did not match what we were actually seeing. Staff had no answer for us except it was sold to a new owner- a new owner doesn’t change pictures. TERRIBLE- we didn’t take any pictures but should have. One couple took one picture of their bed.- which is below.

    We had a great experience with Hotel Marimar! Ashley went above and beyond to make our stay great! We liked the location. Walking distance to many things. We walked to Marshalls, a great coffee/breakfast cafe across the street, grocery store, dinner across the street and a great free beach. We had a wonderful room that had a lovely view. This was a great stay after a Mother/daughter cruise!!

    Where do I start? Room had musty smell, mold on the ceiling, no phone, volume control on remote didn't work, bath tub mat was brown (not it's normal color). No amenities, rooftop terrace, laundry room, gym, closed for renovations (not notified at booking). Cafe bakery, bar closed. we had a room on the 2nd floor so our only view was the wall next door. Thankfully there were great restaurants across the street and a grocery within walking distance. Service terrible. an older hotel in dire need of updating. way overpriced even for San Juan.

    No frills hotel room in a great location. It was quiet and had everything we needed in our stay. It was mostly clean, though we did notice a couple of bugs, but it didn't bother us too much.

    The Miramar Hotel is well located for cruises and visiting old San Juan. Although 3 miles from old San Juan, there is a free bus from outside the door. Across the street are several places to eat, two of which are 24/7.Where the hotel falls shirt are the incorrect claims on the website. The breakfast cafe is not operating. The roof terrace only has some random chairs and is not a feature that should be advertised. However, there are coin operated washer / drier and a micro gym.No swimming pool. Not great value considering the lack of amenities. WiFi was good. There is a welcome glass of wine. Staff are nice but not efficient. Rack rate shown is very high ... at around 230 a night, rooms are comfortable- one could do worse. Next time, I'll stay somewhere else even it means paying z bit more.
