15 single rooms and 55 double rooms are located on 6 storeys and can be reached by lift. English- and French-speaking staff at the reception are happy to assist guests at the reception desk round the clock. Check-in and check-out are available 24 hours a day.     I came from Belgium for one week, and the hotel is very well located.The receptionist, Paolo, is the best receptionist I’ve ever had in all the hotels I’ve stayed at until today. Very professional and very kind — you are lucky to have him on your team.He is the main reason why I’m giving 5 stars.

    This is a 4* hotel. I was greeted with, "Move your car; that space is allocated for a bus. I move one parking space. I am disabled and struggled up the stairs to the reception. The receptionist was on the phone and did not indicate to me. I was allocated a room on the 2st floor. There was a lift. There were no towels in the room. Asking after the advertised swimming pool, I was advised that I must pay extra for that facility. I paid and asked for towels. They never came. After dressing, I went to find the restaurant. I was told the restraint was closed as the Chef was ill that I should walk down the street to a pizza place. It was 9pm and I checked out. I was not charged and found as great hotel 20 min away.How can a 4* hotel take my booking and then tell me the restaurant is closed?

    Classic. Good Service and nice people. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. They should have a bit more fluffier towels but everything else was ok with the room.The check in is always fluid and the breakfast is good with warm and cold options.

    Pros and Cons for one night at Paradis Hotel

    One night (Monday) at Hotel Paradis ClujPros:- Clean beds linens and bathroom- Helpful staff in room reservation and calling a cab- Quiet room on third floor even on the street side- Mini fridge in the room with water, beer, carbonated juices etc.- Buffet with tasty breakfast food at restaurantCons:- Shower above the tub doesn’t have walls and/or curtain- The tub handle for lifting help was loose on the wall and falls when pull it- Open hatch door in the ceiling for pipes visitation, remaining open from a maintenance intervention (I am assuming) - Definitely not 4 stars hotel- Old building with a specific smell- Overpriced hotel compared to the conditions: $98.55 per one night - Not the best color chosen for furniture as they look dirty- The fabric on the bed head with dirty head marks- The wi-fi password was not provided at check in- Breakfast not included in the price and is paid extra- At the breakfast time between 7:00 and 8:00 a long line occurs due to the slow coffee machine.

    Central Hotel with Friendly Staff

    We stayed here for 1 week. Our first room was next to the generator and we had to move but the staff were very understanding and moved us with no issues.The rooms are large, the hotel is being renovated and having peeked in the ones getting done up it'll be lovely when it's done.The hotel is on the center of town, right next door to a shop and has hotel parking behind.The spa is lovely and the staff are very helpful and speak great English.Would definitely come back.
