    A beautiful and very well located hotel. As a family with 2 teenage boys, we stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect, spacious, very clean and beautiful mountain views! Bathroom deserves a mention too with its shower and bath. Restaurant dinner was divine as was their breakfast. Highly recommend!

    Well-appointed room, the shower in my room was quite tiny first the size of the bathroom itself I feel that the shower could have been larger. It was a short 10 mins walk from the main part of town. Breakfast was lovely with a wide variety of food.

    Wonderful breakfast and comfortable bed. I was in an economy single and there was very little natural light. The room was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was almost as big as the room with an excellent shower. The main drawback was the lack of air conditioning but reception organised a fan for me which helped somewhat. Because the hotel is on the edge of the village I took the half board option which consisted of soup and then a choice of a meat or a fish main followed by a desert that was always a surprise. It turned out really well for me but if you like to make your own choices perhaps not for you.

    I have just returned from a three week stay in the Gasperin Hotel in Bohinji. I have been informed this is my 20 plus visit. The Gasperin does not do evening meals but an arrangement exists withe Krystal. I ate numerous times during my stay and the food and wine were exemplary. The staff are very professional but also personable. I thank them for looking after me.

    The Art hotel Kristal is in a great position just an easy 10 minute walk into lake Bohinj with also a bus stop outside going locally and also to Bled and Ljubljana.The jewel of this hotel is it's restaurant and food. Breakfast is lovely with everything you could think of and the set evening meal at 25 euros for 3 courses is such good value. You would pay a lot of money for food like this in the UK. Everything has a local provenance and is beautifully presented.The rooms are comfortable with good showers and a small balcony with table and chairs.Surrounding all this is the amazing scenery, the walks nearby and plenty to see and do in the area. Don't go to Bled, this area is much better!
