One of the worst hotels we have ever been in!

    rating08 Jul 2024

If we could give a zero star to this place, we would. This is one of the worst hotels er have ever been. We were in a room with nearly no light, in a corner with 2 streets, and with a horrible smell of moist and mould. The room was so outdated and there was no place to hang towels. I was drawn by the rustic flare of the hotel, but there was nothing «rustic» about it, but poorly maintained. A fire hazard with electrical outlets loose on the walls, a dangerous shower poorly atatched and paint falling out from the tiles. I can’t believe thay with good conscience date to charge the fares they do. Avoid this place!

    Goes the extra mile

    rating03 Jun 2024

Hotel is a lovely little oasis from the old town center, but still very close to all the "attractions". Comfortable and well-appointed, but most important, the staff is caring and helpful. My (young adult) son was not feeling well on the day of our check out but we had hours to explore before our flight. They generously allowed him to rest and recover in a quiet space for the bulk of the day, admitting us in and out to check on him, always with a smile. We were most grateful to be staying in such a place!

Beautiful old hotel, superb location and excellent staff

    rating01 May 2023

Beautiful old building with individual, very spacious rooms. One had a large terrace, all were large and very comfortable beds. Stayed with family, one room had a poorly ventilated bathroom but the staff were excellent, attentive and helpful. Simple but cheap breakfast, ideal location minutes from the cathedral and the old town. Highly recommend.

Cosy Hotel in Santiago de Compostela

    rating09 Mar 2023

Conveniently-located in the very heart of the old town, the hotel offers excellent service and ultimate comfort to visitors. No need to use any form of transport as everything worth seeing is within easy walking distance. Personal is amazing, doing everything possible to accommodate guests ‘ needs and make them feel at ease. Breakfast is basic but satisfying for the price paid. A good value for money. The room was thoroughly cleaned every day and a new supply of toiletries were delivered. I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Santiago de Compostela for whatever purpose.

    Great Location & Helpful ; But !

    rating30 Sept 2022

Great location! to the Old Town and lots of buses Helpful but,i was given a room no1. with cornering x2 streets.i dozed all night in between the passing of trucks, lorries, people singing , shouting, talking, screaming, hearing every word. Requesting a room for me TO SLEEP which i have paid ( through a travel agent ) i was told i will have to pay for another room. I asked this matter be dealt through the Agent, and voila i was changed to a truly peaceful room, thank you.Don’t expect too much for breakfast .
