    A unique hotel - dog friendly lovely staff on beach

    Really astonishing architecture - just concrete glass s d sea - beautiful and simple lovely room, big bed, nice shower , beach access from hotel, restaurants and cafes on the beach path , gorgeous beach, dogs on beach. Really helpful staff and nice touches for the dog. Simple breakfast lots of fruit, bread, tortilla, ham.

    This hotel looked very different than we expected. It was quite concrete & ugly looking. The air con didn’t work on a boiling hot day. We left staff trying to sort this out but we’re given no feedback until the next day when we were told the system was still on winter setting. The next 2 nights we stayed at other places that had perfectly functioning air con! The breakfast was nice but the staff member was quite brusk and seemed stressed. The room was nice and clean & bed was comfy. I couldn’t hear the waves because someone was playing music but you can’t help that!

    A pity the garden is so ugly

    The hotel has a great architecture, beatiful atmosphere, very kind service and location near the beach. A pity the big garden facing the beach is so “ugly”, untaken care, with no design fences with neighbors, wild plants, not beautiful chairs as the ones in the terrace… it seems the owner spent all the money inside the hotel and did not invest in this huge space outside.Very uneven level of design between the inside and the garden of the hotel.Once hired a landscape architect for the garden, this hotel will be a gem.

    Small rooms, extremely narrow beds, no sunshades (except a lonely one in the devastated "garden", no toilet paper in the toilet below the entrance hall, noisy traffic in the street. - There are better places to go.

    Despite the down pours of rain I enjoyed my two nights right here in Bela Fisterra. Juan was a great host and very welcoming. Nothing was any trouble especially when we got drenched walking to the fabulous lighthouse and back. He provided us with fresh towels. Their breakfast was appetising and there was a great choice. The rooms were spacious and well thought out.
