    Hilton Double Tree in A Coruña is a very nice hotel. It’s located near the city centre (just one block away) and the sea / beach (also one block away). First the reception. The reception is friendly and efficient (check-in and check-out) and they speak English. The rooms are modern with all the things you would expect for a 4-star hotel. The beds are 160 cm so nog kingsize but were very comfortable. Further, the bathroom is very spacious with a shower and rainshower. The aminities provided are also up-to-standard and the minibar (some beer, soda’s and water) were free of charge and there’s a Nespresso machine.The breakfast buffet is limited in choice but it was okay and of certainly the price-quality ratio. The only thing that was a little bit disappointing was the gym. There’s stated on the website that it’s fully equipped but with only one bench, three cardio-machines and a cable station in a very small room, it isn’t really attractive.But overall certainly a 5-star review from my side!

    A Coruna Galician getaway

    An amazing chic boutique property well located on a quiet block. We loved the apartment feel and called it our Manhattan Park Avenue Pied a terre for the 8 nights we were there. As a Hilton Diamond member, we were upgraded to a spacious suite which had a sofa and dining table. There was also an in room refrigerator which the hotel replenished with complimentary beverages and snack. Breakfast was a typical Spanish fare with meats, cheeses, fruit, breads, pastries, cold cereals, yogurt, tortillas, bacon and eggs. We will definitely stay in this hotel again. We loved A Coruna and its beach promenades and hiking paths. It is a great base city to stay if visiting other nearby cities like Santiago de Compostela.     Just returned after staying 4 days at this Doubletree A Corona and It was just perfect. Beautiful property, well maintained, modern, and spotless. Front desk staff were both efficient, fluent in English, and went out of their way to be helpful (great eating suggestions). Hotel was in a great location to allow easy walking throughout the city. Nice bar area. If you are looking for a great place to stay in A Coruna this is the place.     Reception:Friendly welcome at the desk, you get a hot chocolate chip cookie together with the keys. Very helpful as to restaurant recommendation and dinner reservation. We took care of our luggage on our own, which we didn't mind at all, but I am not sure if there is a bell boy.Room:As the whole building our room and bathroom were extremely beautiful, nicely decorated and both very spacious. The bed provided a good night's sleep and the cleanliness of room and bathroom was top - even the bright carpet looked good although I definitely prefer any other soil to carpets for hygienic reasons.Breakfast:The buffet was okay, but not the richest we had on our trip.Location:It's close to the sea shore and the old town. Parking:Just perfect, with entrance to the hotel from inside the parking, which we really appreciated.All in all a wonderful stay, a place to return and to recommend!     Excellent hotel in a great location. Our room was fabulous, the bed very comfortable, and quiet so we slept really well. The best thing about this hotel though is the reception staff who were exceptional and really helpful. I would highly recommend it.
