  The online description of the hotel said they had breakfast available all day. We finished the Camino and had not eaten all day. I was too sore to walk out for dinner but thought I could just have a bowl of cereal. When I went down to the eating area, the front desk staff rudely told me that breakfast was no longer available all day - she said that was a thing of the past. The cereal box was in my hand but I had to put it back.

  I stayed here for just one night before flying back to the UK. The hotel is in the Old Town of the city. It is extremely modern and had every amenity I needed for my stay. The room was a decent size and very comfortable. I had breakfast which had a limited choice but, was adequate for my requirements. I felt that the reception staff weren't particularly welcoming when I arrived which was a shame. It did impact on my hotel experience.

  I had so many questions and the staff always answered my questions. I was able to booked a massage and felt just at home! Loved this hotel, especially after doing el Camino !! They were able to help me get a very early taxi to the train station, tell me where to do laundry and they are about 5 minutes away from the Cathedral! Market and historic district

  We stayed 3 nights in one of the "atico" rooms on the 4th floor. The location of this hotel is excellent. The staff is very friendly. We had a nice time here overall. I'm not a fan of slanted ceilings and did bump my head a couple times. The hotel room was very clean and daily housekeeping did a nice job. It was very nice of them to provide daily bottled water. The room was pretty spacious but not all areas were useful due to the slanted ceiling. I would have liked to have an extra chair or bench in the room, in the slanted areas, and also bathroom, to place personal items. Just a suggestion for improvement that would be fairly easy for the hotel. I would stay here again if I'm ever in Santiago again.

  Completed My Camino and had the best 2 nights rest at this fantastic little hotel. It's located right in the Old Town, less then 5 minutes walk from The Cathedral. The rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. All day self service breakfast available at the little dining area which was most convenient when you want a cup of coffee or even some snacks like toast, yogurt or fruit after a day of sightseeing.The Front Desk staff were very friendly & helpful, salute esp. to Mr Juan who was just great everytime.The only con was the poor WiFi reception in the room. Internet connection was perfect at the dining area which was another incentive for having that extra cup of tea.Highly recommend Smart Boutique hotel.
