We were there by the August Bridge and the experience was very pleasant. We enjoyed its two pools

Very old hotel for the price it has but the treatment was friendly. the best is the comfort you have to enjoy the beach and its two pools which are very good.thanks Originally submitted in Spanish on www.tripadvisor.es. View originals.

    Hotel mugre

    rating05 Aug 2025

I do not recommend it at all, the rooms disgusting. First day we arrived and it seemed like 2 weeks had passed, full of hairballs, dead bugs, stains, dirty, hairs on the sheets and pillows. All lousy, looks like they have a cleanup allergy. Besides, the rooms are scary, they look like they're out of the question but with 50 years more. Not a rag in the kitchen, 90-year-old TV. The Unfortunate Service, they made the beds and already, they left us dirty towels, they did not bring toilet paper, and certainly not to clean. You hear EVERYTHING through the rooms, at 3 in the morning the one next door watching TV as if I were in my own room. Everything itself is bad and dirty under the nose, not even because of the location would come back here even if it is the only good thing there is, not worth it. Perhaps when the cleanliness stops them from being the same scary as the hotel itself will improve a bit. Originally submitted in Spanish on www.tripadvisor.es. View originals.

    Overpriced and outdated.

    rating20 Aug 2015

We stayed here towards the end of week 2 of a 3 week road trip across Spain. We vstayed in an apartmento as a family of 5. At Euro 175/night it was by far the most expensive accommodation of the entire road trip and certainly the worst. View over car park, (couldn't get a car park to park in as all full - so had to park some distance away). No aircon. Pilot light on the boiler went out so only 1 of the 5 of us could have a shower. This kept my wife up and checking the boiler pilot all night as she was petrified of carbon monoxide poisoning. Hotel Wifi only works in reception area and not in the apartmentos. Walls and floors so thin every small sound in the night echoes through the rooms so both of us adults really did not sleep at all. Staff were without doubt the least friendly or helpful we had encountered throughout our road-trip. As with any holiday, some places are great and others are not. Thank goodness this was our only bad experience throughout the journey.

    Camino Ingles - Day 2

    rating12 Jul 2014

Our second stay on the Camino Ingles, where our group opted not to utilize albergues, was at the Hotel Sarga in Cabanas. The location near the beach was perfect for those in our group who went out to explore. Rooms are located in two towers, both with elevator service, and while clean and roomy, are a bit dated (particularly noticeable in the bathroom). Wifi does not reach the rooms but is only accessible in the lobby and parts of the bar area. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet was the best of our entire trip, with a great many options available. Located just a bit off of the Camino Ingles path. Restaurants and shops located very close by.

    sleepless in sarga

    rating29 Aug 2006

We had no where booked and were very tired after travelling a long way - so we plumped for this dated looking place because there did not appear to be much else - we just needed a place to sleep for the night. The rooms are dated although seemed clean and tidy - lino floors and thin door to the room - the bathroom looked liked something from a prison or eastern block, grey tiles and toilet, really creepy atmosphere.Unfortunatly we hardly slepted as it was the noisiest echoey place I've ever been. The walls and floors must be paper thin, not only could you here the roar every time someone flushed the airplane style toilets but you could actually here people urinating. Conversations echoed down the lino floored corridors and footsteps resounded more loudly than I imagined possible. More exhausted by the morning, would rather have slepted in the car!
