One of the worst hotel ever seen in my life

    rating20 Apr 2025

Stay away!!! Microscopic room, extremely cold in all the common areas of the Hotel, no breakfast buffet but a sort of basket and, on top, the stuff is very unkind They never salute the guest and are unable even to smile!!Terrible experience!

A great place to celebrate the end of the Camino de Santiago

    rating09 Jan 2023

The place is incredible. I was there the last day of 2022. The rain, the wind, the sound of the waves, and the light from the faro, made this place, one of my favorites. The restaurant, the staff, are really committed to make this a true wonderful experience. I had to leave early in the morning, Thank you to Maritrini and Deborah for getting my breakfast ready, and allowed me to enjoy a wonderful sunrise.I will definitively be back!!

A cold and noisy expensive nightmare

    rating27 Apr 2022

Very small room. Cold during the day, no chance to heat by yourself. Very noisy in the evening until late night because the room is located almost in the middle of the restaurant. Instead of sleeping you can listen to drunk peoples laughter. The restaurant is not special at all, you can have better and cheaper food in town. Over all a big mistake to book a room here. jacinto picallo, Director General at O Semaforo de Fisterra, responded to this review Hello Thomas.Sorry because you're lying. when you arrived the check in is at 3, and it was done at 12 in the morning, the dining room opens the kitchen at 1:30, and you were fed at 12:30. At no time did you tell the staff that You were cold, nor did you comment on the room, by the way, if it has a view. We are sorry that you did not have a good rest. But you left without paying your room or food bill, so you owe us money. We have passed a note to booking that you are a fraud and we will put the same thing on social networks, you go to the sites without paying. beware the

Firstly this Hotel is in the most spectacular location, which was the deciding factor for picking it. This hotel is the jewel on Cape Finisterre. The staff are excellent and really attentive and helpful. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. The dinner was outstanding matching the views. We had the Fish surprise menu. Started with a dozen scallops then Dorado on vegetables and saffron potatoes. Delicious. Accompanied by a fabulous local white wine. The next day we tried the tapas bar with Steamed Mussels and breaded chicken on skewers. This was certainly one of the best 5 hotels that we have ever stayed in all over the world and worth every penny.

    Pleasant but expensive

    rating18 Oct 2020

I'd first like to point out this hotel is NOT incorporated into the lighthouse as is somewhat implied on their website. It's actually a converted building about a 100 meters from the light house. That aside, the small hotel is very nice with very pleasant and quirky - but SMALL rooms. Our room was tiny and still 100 euros in the off season and during a pandemic - I dread to think what they charge as a full summer rate. I will say a very good breakfast was included in the price. The staff were ALL wonderful, cannot fault the service at all. We had a very nice dinner in the small restaurant in the glassed in patio - the food was good but not spectacular, but again great service from our fantastic waiter. The location itself is not as impressive as I'd imagined - yes, it's the end of the Camino, but in itself is quite boring. OK views of the sea and cliffs, but I've seen much more spectacular views in many other locations.
