Location

This hotel is located at the heart of Santiago de Compostela opposite the Auditorio de Galicia and a large park. It is a stone’s throw to the old town with its many restaurants, bars and shopping venues and an array of nightclubs, and the nearest bus stop are around 1 km from the hotel whilst it is 1.5 km to the railway station. The cathedral and Plaza Obradoiro are a short, 5-minute walk away and it is 900 m to the Centro Gallego de Arte Contemporáneo. Santiago de Compostela and La Coruña airports are 10 km and 75 km from the hotel respectively.

The hotel has 8 suites and 151 double rooms, which are located on 6 storeys and are reachable by lift. The friendly staff at the reception desk are happy to answer any questions.     Great hotel! Amazing staff, location and facilities. The room was very nice and comfortable with a great shower and large bathroom. The hotel’s wellness center is very good with a nice outdoor/indoor pool, sauna and Turkish bath. So easy to access to the old town. We park our car in the hotel and walk through the park across the street or through the road by the Biology Dept of the University. Our favorite spots in Santiago were A Noiesa and El Papatorio restaurants, Costa Vella garden cafe (hidden gem) Cuore di Gelato ice cream shop & cafe ( All on the old town). Highly recommended!     I had to mention how absolutely amazing both food and wine menu is in the hotel main restaurant. I had to come back for lunch after one of the best meals ever yesterday. Delicious seafood, burrata salads and fish. Big hats off to this chef who could be in a Michelin Star no problem!     Falls a bit too short for a 5 star hotel

    Location is within a walking distance from the Obradoiro square and the Old town. But it is a bit further from the railway and bus station, so, from the pilgrim's point of view, it's not a very convenient location. However, the modernity of the interior really surpasses the one of Reyes Catholicos. Breakfast: honestly, I was all little bit disappointed - neither the coffee machines, nor the coffee was good enough, there wasn't even an option for cappuccino as a self service. The food was also the same and not of a five star hotel for sure: no fish was present, not a wide selection of hot meals (typical omelets) the vegetable options were also few. Sad breakfast once they marked the hotel 5 stars. The housekeeping was wonderful. The reception staff was also good. The hotel boasts of a spa and a pool, however, there were no bathrobes in the room suggesting that not all the rooms have access to spa - which is really not a solid attitude usually characteristic to a 5 star service. Overall it's not a 5 star hotel in my opinion.
