    It is a beautiful property, but it is on a steep hill making it a little tough to get luggage in & out. We stayed in the villas which gave us room to gather as a family, but be aware there is no AC. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the pool, but the restaurant was closed for dinner both nights we were there (Sunday & Monday). They did direct us to use the app Glovo to order food for delivery. We were able to get some meals using that both nights. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place.

    As we were attending a family wedding here, we decided to stay in an apartment (villa) for a few days. We had a very warm welcome from the guy on reception, who was really helpful throughout our stay. The villas are all detached and very unusual looking as can be seen in the photos. We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit which was incredibly spacious, comfortable and well-maintained. The complex is beautifully kept and fascinating to wander around. Although it was absolutely full, it was amazingly quiet most of the time. However, be warned that the weddings can go on until 3:00 and the noise is incredibly loud. We were attending one, so not complaining! The supermarket is about a 15 minute walk or very short drive away and the beach a 30 minute walk. The ancient pazo is fabulous inside and the grounds are beautiful. We didn’t have chance to eat there (4 days of family celebrations - anyone who has attended a Spanish Boda will understand the amount of food involved!) This hotel is where we will always stay midweek when in A Coruna in future.

    Disappointing- one night was enough

    Although listed as a hotel it is not a hotel per se- more like a self catering family holiday park, albeit an up market one.Our travel agent booked it for us as part of a tour around northern Spain. We had requested only 4 or 5 star hotels.The grounds are beautiful but that’s the only positive thing I can say.The staff were rude, in particular the waitress on the terrace on Saturday evening. Originally we thought it was a language barrier issue but the next day at breakfast she was just as rude - in fact the word we would use is hostile!!! She was surly and severely lacks customer service skills. The receptionist when we checked in could also do with some training in customer service.The property is in a residential area and the restaurant isn’t open in the evening. You can’t even get a soft drink after 8.00pm!! When we did ask for a drink whilst waiting for a taxi we were made to feel like we were asking for the impossible! We were given a one bedroom apartment which was like a tin box. Although it looked quirky it was like a greenhouse! It was stifling and there was no air conditioning. Really - metal room without air con?????We were so so disappointed with our visit and would struggle to recommend it.In all honesty we couldn’t wait to leave. We were so disappointed that we will be suggesting our travel agent thinks twice before booking any one else a room there!!!Not impressed!!!!

    Lovely quiet and atmospheric hotel

    I stayed here for a few days visiting friends with my daughter. While she was out I spent most of the time working at the hotel, which is in an 18th century building complete with a chapel. The hotel is set in beautifully maintained gardens; has a large and elegant pool with tasteful loungers around it; and has a fabulous restaurant. My room was atmospheric and very comfortable and clean and the staff were super-helpful. A great place to hang out in or to make visits from.

    What an experience...Super atmosphere with old style small hotel (okay you must like the style). Rooms are big and everything is there.200 % service with friendly people.... inside everything is in detail like old times... even clothing is in detail like old days... nice details like old fountains and so on on the property... good food in the restaurant... also breakfast was great! Also use of swimming pool is nice. In the direct area many small beaches and the city life of Coruna. We would most certainly go back again if we visit this city again.
