    Historic meticulously refurbed hotel

    This is a fantastic hotel- beautiful old stone building with gorgeous timber and marble flooring. An excellent bed, snowy linens and fluffy towels, beautiful and quiet and friendly, helpful staff. It’s also in a fantastic location right on a beautiful square, only 200 metres from The Cathedral.

    Reserved a room facing the little square. It was attractive, clean, very bright and pretty quiet. We enjoy 3 nice days here! Jorge is amazingly helpful and so friendly, Louisa is welcoming and eager to make sure you enjoy your time here. These two make this hotel a home!Cold buffet breakfast are good and the variety is enough for a couple days. Book it! Ask for a square view.

    I stayed here just for 3 nights in March 2026, and found it was perfect in all aspects. The staff were professional and helpful in all ways, providing directions and information to local bars, restaurants and places of interest. The breakfast was good, continental with choices of cereal, Spanish ham and cheeses, their walnut and fruit bread was lovely. It was 15 Euros. I visited around St Patrick's Day, the best bar was Casa Das Crechas where they had a Galician band playing their traditional music, as well serving Guinness

    Really fabulous, comfortable hotel in a superb location close the cathedral. The staff were super friendly and helpful. We stayed in a superior room and had a great view. Loved the garden too - the whole place is like a peaceful oasis. Already planning to come back !

    A beautiful hotel in an ideal location to see Santiago

    There are so many wonderful features to this hotel. It is small, intimate, and has a lovely, secluded garden. Our room was spacious and comfortable and the location was perfect. Best of all were the staff who could not have been more helpful. Thank you in particular to Nuria and to Iria, who also put up with my faltering Spanish! We shall definitely return some day.
