    Stay in Sigueiro instead

Super noisy room right on the highway. Hallways smell of cigarettes. Stay a few kilometres back in Sigueiro where there is food, supermarkets and something to do the night prior arriving in Santiago de Compostela

Avoid this very cold and musty smelling hotel at all costs. Stayed here for one night and it has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Breakfast consisted of concentrated orange juice and cold toast! The ONE positive was the 2 friendly female staff.

Clean, comfortable accommodation and cheerful service.

The decor is a little tired, and this family-owned hotel is adjacent to a sometimes noisy highway. However, it offers free parking, and is merely a ten-minute drive from Santiago airport. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable, and have free wifi. The Continental breakfast comprised fresh orange juice, delicious coffee, croissants . . . but cold toast!Staff deserve commendation. They are welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful.

    Dreadful

Sadly this hotel has seen better days and gets practically no guests these days , there were 5 people in total staying the night we were there , the stench in the entrance hall and throughout the building was unbearable, ironically the room was comfortable despite a plastic under sheet on the bed , dinner was a piece of inedible frozen fish , we avoided breakfast but adjacent to the hotel is a lovely little Spanish bar with excellent basic food , finally to access the hotel you have to cross an unbelievably busy motorway which took us twenty minutes for a clearance in the traffic and then the same again to rejoin the Camino , not for the faint hearted !!

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS

In a desolate location in the middle of nowhere, next to a very busy motorway. Had a creepy atmosphere - my partner said it felt like Bates Motel! Murky corridor leading to the room. Appears to be run by two gentlemen, who were quite polite, although one wouldn't accept that the wifi didn't work in our room. (It didn't). Had to go outside the room into the corridor for it to connect. Decided to have dinner there as nowhere else near. Big mistake. They asked if we wanted meat or fish. We explained that we didn't eat any meat, but fish OK. (No vegetarian option). They promptly brought chicken soup. Obviously chicken isn't meat in their book. We asked if there was anything else, and were offered melon. This came with ham. You couldn't make it up. The main course was a tasteless/sloppy piece of fish in batter. Clearly straight from the freezer. A bowl of salad came with it, which was 95% lettuce. No potatoes or other accompaniment. Easily the worst meal we've ever had in Spain. Breakfast was basically bread, and more bread. No cheese or anything else with it.Room OK, although very 1960's.. The whole place needs updating and refurbishing.
