  reception staff went out of the way to help us. recommending where to go and how to find bus and train connections to get there. helped with time tables as well. the bus for the airport and the train station stops outside the door, the adult fare is $1 so made travel cheap and very easy.food was of excellent quality and quantity. we were on half board basis.room clean ,bed excellent, no english tv stations.lovely bathroom.

  A good overall hotel but....

  Buts are that they get your money as soon as you are registered. Thus if you have any trouble it will be left to your own deal. The counter is occupied by a seriour-to-angry woman impossible to describe. She makes you feel you are a thief. Besides that, the hotel is not bad at all maybe a little more expensive it deserves given is distant location from the center of Santiago.

  Was here on a group tour and I must say that this is about the worst place I had to stay in during our entire trip. After arriving at the hotel, we had a booked dinner at the restaurant. They served us with something that resembled soup (water+corn flour+stock cubes). We asked the waiters for some salt and pepper. As it turns out, it was too much to ask for. None of the tables had them! Second course was some diced pork and chips (fries). The only thing edible were the chips. Meat was tough and definitely not fresh. Someone asked for some vinegar (again, no luck). Pudding was edible. Rooms are quite retro. The front facade of the building have been renovated but the rest of the building is dated. Never heard such a loud air con unit. Altogether, i would definitely advise you to avoid this place with a wide circle. After complaining to the manageress and asking to cancel dinner on the next day because of bad experience, she simply dismissed us by saying that the chef has prepared what was agreed on the menu? She also tried to explain that meat was a local speciality??? I have been visiting Spain for over 20 years now and love local cuisine but that was something completely new to me... obviously we discussed refund but she stated that it does not matter if we cancel or nor, the chef is still going to prepare the meal. What? Again, the mentality here is: it does not matter if the food is edible or not... we are still going to waste it! Shame. Avoid.

  Ruined the end of my Camino

  I was kept awake until well after 12pm by uncontrollable teenagers, screaming in the hall, playing loud music, slamming doors and banging on my door too. Staff on duty did not take action. Only offered 4 euros discount. Unacceptable. The experience at this hotel ruined the end of my Camino. I hope the Management will read this review and provide me the full refund I am owed for their incompetence to deal with this group.

  Not the worst hotel but...

  There are some places that even tho nothing really bad happend leaves a bitter taste.Food was edible but not great. Rooms were clean but small.Waiter was grumpy and unfriendly but the lady on the reception was really nice. (Except she told to the waiter not to let us sit on the table with the rest of our group bacause we just wanted to drink some wine and cheese plate and not the whole dinner menu)I guess, it's ok just to sleep but do not expect anything else from this place.
