  Charming Elegance and Perfect Location in Chelsea

  San Domenico House is full of old-world charm, and we love lounging in our sun-filled, spacious, and quiet room in this wonderful Chelsea neighborhood. We particularly enjoy the charming breakfast room and the selection of piano music played softly in the background. The location is superb, just around the corner from Duke of York Square, lovely shops, and great restaurants. The staff have refined manners and are always thoughtful and polite. It is one of our favorite hotels in London.

  Strongly suggest you choose a different boutique hotel!

  Very unpleasant experience in this otherwise cozy hotel. We arrived early from an overseas flight and after extensive early morning negotiations we were allowed into one of several empty rooms( we booked a junior suite) for an extra 100 pound fee. The room was nice but right next to a building under renovation so very noisy with hammering and drilling. We asked for another room but were told that the only option was one for 200 pound extra per day.Given the above we requested to stay put and change room the following day and also to extend the reservation for two extra nights.Next day we were told nothing was available besides the 200 pound extra one( which we visited and found to be no better then current one and on a lower floor with a useless balcony facing the street) and now no other rooms available as some last minute reservations had arrived. We complained with the young lady at the check in and asked several times to speak to the resident manager but never got a call back. We suspect the resident manager does not in fact exist and the young lady is totally unprepared to handle the job.With several cozy boutique hotels in London this is one we would never recommend or go back to. Pity as the place is nice but totally mismanaged with no attention to customer needs and a rather dodgy italian management

  I recently had a wonderful stay at the beautiful San Domenico House, which is conveniently located just off Kings Road. The hotel is perfectly situated near shops, restaurants, and museums. The rooms are luxurious, and the eclectic art decor adds to its charm. I always look forward to returning. I was also thrilled to receive a fantastic rate along with a room upgrade. After a long day in London, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Thank you! I will definitely be back!

  San Domenico House is a charming, small and luxurious hotel in the heart of Sloane Square. Once a family home it now exists as a boutique hotel and a welcome respite from the bustle of the surrounding area. The staff stand out for their professionalism and friendliness, nothing is too much trouble. I enjoyed a superb continental breakfast in my stunningly decorated room with extremely comfortable bed and all spotlessly clean. Efficient and attentive check-in/out. Special thanks to Mattea and Ben. A true hidden treasure. I look forward to returning.

  Pretty, clean and quite hotel. It's located in central London, so it's easy to go around to see the city and you can also go for food and entertainment around. The hotel is very well decorated with a characteristic londonese atmosphere. we had a good stay.
