Location

The apartments are situated 30 m from Poniente Beach, just beside the pedestrian promenade with amazing views. The Calpe Rock 'Peñón de Ifach' access is about 500 metres away and the harbour is approx. 300 metres away. The apartments are close to the town centre.

Facility

70 rooms and 64 apartments are located on 16 storeys and can be reached by lift. Multilingual staff (English, German, French) at the 24-hour reception desk are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service and a safe. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The apartment hotel has a range of facilities for guests with disabilities. The hotel has wheelchair-accessible facilities. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Guests arriving by car can park their vehicles in the garage (for a fee) or in the car park (for a fee). Other services include a 24-hour security service, medical assistance, a transfer service, a laundry service and a coin-operated laundry.

Rooms

Air conditioning and central heating ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. In most units, guests can enjoy a view of the sea from a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a double bed and a sofa bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A minibar is provided. For self-catering guests, there is a well-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station and oven. There is also a washing machine and an ironing set. A telephone, a TV and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered a selection of towels. Wheelchair-friendly rooms can be booked. The hotel has family rooms, non-smoking rooms and smoking rooms.

Sport

No matter the weather, guests can take an energising swim in one of the 3 indoor and outdoor pools. There is also a special swimming area just for kids. A terrace with sun loungers and parasols is available. The wide range of activities offered at the apartment hotel ensures that there is something new to do every day, including cycling/mountain biking, tennis, crazy golf, fishing and horse riding. Water sports available at the hotel include windsurfing, canoeing, snorkelling and diving. The fitness rooms are perfect for a comprehensive workout. A wellness area with a spa is available at the hotel.

    The apartment is good, the view is excellent and it's all just great to be honest. I loved the swimming pools and the location of them. The balcony is awesome too. I recommend this very much. This is our 3rd year in a row going there .

    The location for the beach is excellent and there are some good local bars and restaurants. Be aware that before Easter most of the bars and restaurants are closed and those that do open close at 6:00 p.m. The problem with the location is there is no local store to purchase the most basic of groceries. You have long walks to the town and up the hill to the Solymar supermarket or to the Lidl supermarket by the lake. These appear much farther on the return journey if you are carrying groceries and heavy items such as water and wine. The Select supermarket marked on Google maps as just behind the apartment closed 2 years ago. However, it looks like someone is working on the site so it may reopen (as a supermarket?). Apt 29a has a large terrace, a reasonable lounge and a small kitchen with the added advantage of a real oven but no preparation area. There is also a washing machine on the small rear terrace. The apartment was very clean but a little 'tired'. There were one or two niggles like a hall light that did not work and a broken handle on the back door. These were sorted the next day after reporting them. What could not be fixed was the constant and annoying whistling through ill fitting widows and doors at the slightest of breezes. The apartment is advertised as having WiFi. It does not work. The signal will only hold for a few seconds. If you are intending to stream videos or maybe use for business you would be better off using smoke signal from the Ifach rock. For sending home photos and keeping in touch with family all the local bars have good WiFi. The linen is replaced weekly but you have to take the dirty linen to the Turis office and collect the fresh linen. This is quite a walk or take the bus as I did. It takes a lot of time out of your holiday and is the equivalent of a 3 Euro charge for clean linen. The linen is not of the best quality, One towel was so thin It had a hole worn in it. Be aware also that the apartments allows pets and you may have to put up with yappy dogs and ones that howl when there owners leave them alone (our experience).

    Apartment was basic and sparsely equipped,the balcony was the best part with fantastic views and plenty of space to eat or sunbath.It was inconvenient to pick the keys up from other location about 1.5 Km away.Parking was good but at extra 8 euro per day.Cheap and cheerful.

    Apartment 18B. Great location overlooking the beach and sea. A massive balcony. However, no kettle and extremely small bowls and cups. Has 48 channels on the TV but not one in english. Would benefit from a welcome pack of washing up liquid, scourer and toiletries. You have to collect the keys a half hour walk away. Would certainly benefit from a spruce up.

    The Amatista apartments are very good,with sea views. The higher you are the better the view. Not too expensive. Safe parking is available and all at a very reasonable price. The apartments are well equipped and very clean.
